Beware the Trump Transition Noise
by Herman Cain: Pull it together, libs. You're embarrassing yourselves.
As president-elect Donald Trump nears completion of his top Cabinet nominations (VA and Agriculture undecided), the liberals and the Democrats continue to try and distract from the speed and quality of these nominations.
They have one big problem. The public is getting sick and tired of their snarky, sniveling and irrational attacks on every move, every word, and every nomination by Donald Trump and his advisors.
My colleague Jamie Dupree first pointed this out on his blog, and I'm sure some of you have noticed it too. Democrats are overplaying their weak hand in a spectacular way. The public is telling them that it's time for liberals and Democrats to "move on," but they're still not listening. They're mired in post-election denial and they can't get out of it.
Even some Republicans are starting to take "pot shots" at Trump and his nominees, which only reveals their true political DNA in responding to media distractions and mudslinging. They want to cover their "anchovies" in case some of the mud sticks.
The "Trump Noise Machine" seems to forget that most of the nominees have to be confirmed by the Senate. Senators - on both sides of the aisle - should be preparing to ask hard questions and expect good answers. They should not be whining along with failed candidates and aggrieved pundits.
President-elect Trump has set a positive tone of what to expect from his presidency. That tone has already been reflected in the stock market, the housing market, consumer confidence, and businesses' confidence.
Virtually every economic indicator has spiked since the election and businesses are already making plans to invest the cash and equity they have been sitting on for the last eight years. The reason? They no longer live in fear of Hillary's tax hikes, and have hope that fewer burdensome regulations will be shoved down their throats.
It's called a business-friendly environment.
The liberal propaganda machine is in self-destruct mode. The more they push their outlandish hysteria, the worse things are going to get for their own party. The people aren't stupid but, for whatever reason, the left refuses to hear them. Somebody from the liberal sphere needs to step up and speak up before it's too late.
It's not about Democrats' hurt feelings.
It's about doing the right thing for the United States of America!
