Final Countdown: Senator Bob Menendez's Bribery Trial Starts Iin 7 Days
New Jersey Senator Robert Menendez (D) indicted over 2 years ago for for allegedly taking bribes & engaging in various forms of corruption, conspiracy & fraud. His trial is scheduled to begin Sept 6, 2017! |
…yet shockingly, he recently asked the court to delay his trial because it would interfere with his duties as a Senator!
The prosecutor delivered a spectacular beat down. I could not have said it better myself:
The judge in the Menendez case sided with the prosecution – and the trial starts on September 6, exactly one week from today.
With a potential conviction coming after a trial that should take about six weeks, it is imperative that we put our Senators on record as to whether, if convicted of corruption-related offense due to his conduct as a Senator, they will still allow him to continue serving in the United States Senate.
Democrats are already floating the idea of keeping a convicted felon in the Senate for months – until the next governor of New Jersey is inaugurated in January, which they hope and expect will be a Democrat. If it happens, and Democrats tolerate a convicted felon in their ranks to secure a political advantage, it would make every Senate Democrat complicit in Menendez's bribery and fraud.
Will your Senators potentially allow a FELON to serve in the Senate? Please click here to ask.
And as always, if you receive an answer from your Senators, please let me know! If any Senators are prepared to defend these potentially outrageous crimes, we want to know.
