President Trump Scores Massive Pro-Life Victory: Planned Parenthood Defunded

by Erick Erickson: While it can be undone by a future President, President Trump has scored a massive, massive victory for the pro-life cause by adopting a rule that forbids entities getting federal Title X funding from referring women for abortions. The far-left Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals even, surprisingly, upheld the rule.

As a result of the new rule, Planned Parenthood will decline to take federal funding. The very reason for Planned Parenthood is to kill children. It has no interest in helping poor women if it cannot offer to sacrifice their children to Moloch.

Notice how the New York Times spins this:
Planned Parenthood receives about $60 million annually through the federal program, known as Title X. The funds have enabled the group to provide more than 1.5 million low-income women each year with services like birth control and pregnancy tests, as well as screenings for sexually transmitted diseases and breast and cervical cancer. In some rural communities, Planned Parenthood is the only provider of such services.Planned Parenthood and left leaning states have worked tirelessly to shut down and otherwise harass any women’s clinic that does not perform abortion.

Meanwhile, its refusal to want to provide medical services without also being able to kill children is an admission against interest that Planned Parenthood is a willful murder factory.

President Trump should be commended for what he did.
