The Racist Agenda Behind Anti-Race Training
"If you're white, you're racist," they say. It doesn't get any more racist than that.

Decent Americans of all races are being cowed into silence by some of the most contemptible people on the planet who insist any deviation from their worldview, or any challenge to their ideologically bankrupt dogma, can be wholly dismissed with accusations of bigotry. Thus it is wholly unsurprising that the San Diego Unified School District has “invited” its teachers to attend “white privilege” training courses, where they are told “you are racist” and “you are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies.”
Reports from the New York Post and Fox News characterize this training as “voluntary” and “professional development,” respectively. But as reporter Christopher F. Rufo, who obtained leaked documents exposing this effort, put it during a Monday interview on Fox News, the pressure on teachers to participate in these sessions is considerable.
Rufo, who did a masterful job of exposing the federal government’s effort to force-feed Critical Race Theory to its employees, which precipitated President Donald Trump’s executive order to end it, nonetheless reveals the same racist scam is alive and well in San Diego:The training begins with a “land acknowledgement,” in which the teachers are asked to accept that they are colonizers living on stolen Native American land. Then they are told they will experience “guilt, anger, apathy, [and] closed-mindedness” because of their “white fragility.”
After watching clips of Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi, the trainers tell the teachers: “you are racist,” “you are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies,” and that they must commit to becoming “antiracist” in the classroom. They must submit to the new racial orthodoxy.
The teachers are told that they are part of an oppressive white power structure. The trainers claim that “white people in America hold most of the [power]” and that white teachers have an “ability to thrive” that is “being preserved at every level of power.”
Finally, teachers are told they must become “antiracist” activists. They must “confront and examine [their] white privilege,” “acknowledge when [they] feel white fragility,” and “teach others to see their privilege.” They must turn their schools into activist organizations. Maureen Magee, the school district’s spokeswoman, justifies this assault on common sense and common decency. “We are a majority-minority district with a majority white teacher workforce,” she stated in en email. “The ability to hold honest conversations about race with grace is important, which is why we offered the training and why so many teachers elected to enroll. Our students benefit from being able to talk about race and other difficult issues, regardless of their background. Most of all, we believe every open and sincere conversation about race — no matter how it begins — provides an opportunity to learn from one another, for hearts to open, and for minds to grow.”
That telling white teachers they are default racists and minority teachers they are default victims — based on nothing more than their skin color — will cause hearts to open and minds to grow is utterly preposterous. Even more preposterous is the idea that teachers should become political activists and turn schools into activist organizations — all marching in lockstep with the progressive agenda.
That’s not education. It’s rank indoctrination of the worst kind, and there is no doubt whatsoever that if these schools were being turned into conservative indoctrination centers, these self-aggrandizing champions of justice would be manning the ramparts to put an end to it.
And while the district is promoting this racist drivel, the real scandal occurring here gets obscured — as in the reality that only 47% of San Diego Unified students reach proficiency in reading and math.
What to do? In September, the same district unanimously voted to eliminate what it characterized as “non-academic factors” from student grades “partly to address racial and other disparities in current grading practices,” the San Diego Union reports.
When one gets beyond the double-talk? As the paper explains, students “will no longer be docked in their academic grades for turning work in late or other factors related to work habits,” and “academic grades will only be about showing progress toward ‘mastery of standards,’ rather than rewarding students for completing a certain quantity of work.” The district is also exploring “offering ‘credit/no credit’ grades to students with extenuating circumstances.”
In short, rather than addressing the black-white achievement gap that has existed in public schools for 50 years, objective standards will be eliminated.
This is no accident, because an honest discussion about it would require America to address what columnist Heather Mac Donald refers to as “bias fallacy” whereby disparate outcomes in education and employment are automatically deemed racist, rather than a reflection of the skills gap.
A skills gap that is largely a reflection of behavior.
And again, a lack of courage is the culprit. As Mac Donald explains, one is not supposed to point out that “one-third of all black males have a felony conviction,” that many “embrace a street culture of guns, drugs, and impulsivity,” or that the out-of-wedlock birthrate in the black community is 69%.
“As long as data on the skills and behavior gap remain available, it is possible to challenge the myth of bias, at least in theory,” she states. “So those facts must themselves be canceled, as well as anyone who publicizes them.”
Mac Donald also reminds us how insidious this effort has become. “The National Museum of African American History & Culture in Washington declared this past summer that rationality, the two-parent family, punctuality, self-control, and being polite were ‘white’ traits,” she adds.
Do Americans really want to live in a nation where “meritocracy” and “racism” are becoming interchangeable terms?
In the San Diego Unified School District the answer is apparently yes, and so-called “honest conversations about race with grace” are nowhere to be found. During a guest lecture at Boston University in 2019, one of the district’s aforementioned trainers, University of Washington professor Robin DiAngelo, who authored the book White Fragility, told the audience that a “dangerous white person” is one who views people as individuals rather than judging them by skin color. The other aforementioned trainer, Boston University professor Ibram Kendi, asserted that white people who adopt black children are “colonizers” attempting to influence “savage” children in “superior” ways “while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial.”
Both of these racial arsonists are paid handsomely for their efforts. DiAngelo gets paid thousands of dollars per hour for her university lectures, and Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research launched by Kendi received a $10 million donation from Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
What will it take to stop this nonsense from continuing? Courage. Courage in the form of an anti-discrimination lawsuit filed by someone coerced or required to attend these racist indoctrination sessions, based on the 1964 Civil Rights Act that prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
Let’s see if “white privilege” — which is nothing more than insisting someone is automatically racist based solely on the color of one’s skin — holds up in court.
