On Thanksgiving Day, we remember with reverence and gratitude the bountiful blessings afforded to us by our Creator, and we recommit to sharing in a spirit of thanksgiving and generosity with our friends, neighbors, and families.

Nearly four centuries ago, determined individuals with a hopeful vision of a more prosperous life and an abundance of opportunities made a pilgrimage to a distant land. These Pilgrims embarked on their journey across the Atlantic at great personal risk, facing unforeseen trials and tribulations, and unforetold hardships during their passage. After their arrival in the New World, a harsh and deadly winter took the lives of nearly half their population. Those who survived remained unwavering in their faith and foresight of a future rich with liberty and freedom, enduring every impediment as they established one of our Nation’s first settlements. Through God’s divine providence, a meaningful relationship was forged with the Wampanoag Tribe, and through their unwavering resolve and resilience, the Pilgrims enjoyed a bountiful harvest the following year. The celebration of this harvest lasted 3 days and saw Pilgrims and Wampanoag seated together at the table of friendship and unity. That first Thanksgiving provided an enduring symbol of gratitude that is uniquely sewn into the fabric of our American spirit.


More than 150 years later, it was in this same spirit of unity that President George Washington declared a National Day of Thanksgiving following the Revolutionary War and the ratification of our Constitution. Less than a century later, that hard-won unity came under duress as the United States was engaged in a civil war that threatened the very existence of our Republic. Following the Battle of Gettysburg in 1863, in an effort to unite the country and acknowledge “the gracious gifts of the Most High God,” President Abraham Lincoln asked the American people to come together and “set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next as a Day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the heavens.” Today, this tradition continues with millions of Americans gathering each year to give their thanks for the same blessings of liberty for which so many brave patriots have laid down their lives to defend during the Revolutionary War and in the years since.


Since the first settlers to call our country home landed on American shores, we have always been defined by our resilience and propensity to show gratitude even in the face of great adversity, always remembering the blessings we have been given in spite of the hardships we endure. This Thanksgiving, we pause and acknowledge those who will have empty seats at their table. We ask God to watch over our service members, especially those whose selfless commitment to serving our country and defending our sacred liberty has called them to duty overseas during the holiday season. We also pray for our law enforcement officials and first responders as they carry out their duties to protect and serve our communities. As a Nation, we owe a debt of gratitude to both those who take an oath to safeguard us and our way of life as well as to their families, and we salute them for their immeasurable sacrifices.


As we gather today with those we hold dear, let us give thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings we enjoy. United together as one people, in gratitude for the freedoms and prosperity that thrive across our land, we acknowledge God as the source of all good gifts. We ask Him for protection and wisdom and for opportunities this Thanksgiving to share with others some measure of what we have so providentially received.


NOW, THEREFORE, I, DONALD J. TRUMP, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim Thursday, November 28, 2019, as a National Day of Thanksgiving. I encourage all Americans to gather, in homes and places of worship, to offer a prayer of thanks to God for our many blessings.

Ukraine-funded Atlantic Council Emerges As 'Impeachment' Hub

Donors to the Atlantic Council in 2016 included Google, billionaire activist George Soros’s Open Society network, and a law firm integrally involved with the Russia "dossier" that led to the Mueller investigation of President Donald Trump.

by Free Press International News Service: The Atlantic Council, which is funded by Burisma, the Ukraine natural gas company at the center of the scandal involving Joe and Hunter Biden, had among its membership a staffer who works for Rep. Adam Schiff, a report said.

Other major donors to the Atlantic Council in 2016 include Google, billionaire activist George Soros’s Open Society network and a law firm integrally involved with the Russia "dossier" that led to the Mueller investigation of President Donald Trump.

The Breitbart report noted that 2016 donors to the Atlantic Council included Perkins Coie, the law firm that represented the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and also reportedly helped draft the Google-tied CrowdStrike firm to aid with the DNC’s allegedly hacked server to which the DNC denied the FBI access.

Google’s parent company led a funding drive to provide seed capital to CrowdStrike.

On behalf of the DNC and Clinton’s campaign, Perkins Coie also paid the controversial Fusion GPS firm to produce the infamous, largely-discredited anti-Trump dossier compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele.

The Schiff staffer, Sean Misko, has been described as “close friends” with Eric Ciaramella, whom Real Clear Investigations suggests is the likely so-called whistleblower, Breitbart News reported on Nov. 26.

“Misko reportedly joined Schiff’s staff at the House Intelligence Committee in August – the same month the so-called whistleblower’s complaint was filed after first reportedly interfacing with a staffer for Schiff’s office,” the report said.

The Washington Examiner described Misko as having a “bro-like” friendship with Ciaramella, calling the duo “close friends.”

The Examiner reported that Misko and Ciaramella “had similarly antagonistic attitudes toward the Trump administration and were witnessed by a former National Security Council official, like Ciaramella, a nonpolitical appointee, to frequently be around one another.”

“My understanding was that they were friendly with one another,” said the former NSC official, who was described as senior to Ciaramella. “They would walk around the halls. Get lunch together and stuff like that.” He described them as “very much cut from the same cloth,” and their friendship as “bro-like.”

Misko served as a fellow at the Atlantic Council in 2015 and is also listed as providing a donation of up to $999 to the think tank in 2016.

Misko is the second Schiff staffer to have worked for the Atlantic Council.

Thomas Eager, a staffer on Schiff’s House Intelligence Committee, is currently a fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Congressional Fellowship, a bipartisan program that says it “educates congressional staff on current events in the Eurasia region.”

Burisma in January 2017 signed a “cooperative agreement” with the Council to specifically sponsor the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center, where Eager serves as a fellow.

As Breitbart News reported, itinerary for a trip to Ukraine in August organized by the Atlantic Council reveals that Eager held a meeting during the trip with acting U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bill Taylor, now a key witness for Democrats pursuing impeachment.

Breitbart News reported that Taylor himself has evidenced a close relationship with the Atlantic Council think tank, writing Ukraine policy pieces with the organization’s director and analysis articles published by the Council.

Eager’s August trip to Ukraine was billed as a bipartisan “Ukraine Study Trip” in which ten Congressional staffers participated.

A closer look at the itinerary for the Aug. 24 to Aug. 31 trip shows that the delegation’s first meeting upon arrival in Ukraine was with Taylor.

“The dates of the pre-planned trip are instructive. Eager’s visit to Ukraine sponsored by the Burisma-funded Atlantic Council began 12 days after the so-called ‘whistleblower’ officially filed his Aug. 12 complaint,” Breitbart News noted.

Schiff and his office have offered seemingly conflicting statements on the timeline of the contact between the so-called whistleblower and Schiff’s office.

Schiff told MSNBC on Sept. 17: “We have not spoken directly with the whistleblower. We would like to.”

Schiff’s spokesperson, Patrick Boland, was quoted on Oct. 2 saying, “At no point did the committee review or receive the complaint in advance.” Boland said Schiff’s committee received the complaint the night before it publicly released the document.

On Oct 2, however, The New York Times reported that Schiff received some of the contents of the complaint through an unnamed House Intelligence Committee aide initially contacted by the so-called “whistleblower,” described as a CIA officer.

The Times reported the aide “shared some of what the officer conveyed to Schiff.” The referenced officer refers to the so-called “whistleblower.”

The Times also reported: “By the time the whistle-blower filed his complaint, Schiff and his staff knew at least vaguely what it contained.”

Schiff conceded that he was not clear enough about his contact with the so-called “whistleblower.”

“I should have been much more clear,” Schiff said.

Federal Debt Up $1.3 Trillion Since Last Thanksgiving; $10,137 Per Household

by Terence P. Jeffrey: The federal debt has increased by $1,303,466.578.471.45 since last Thanksgiving, according to data released by the U.S. Treasury.

That is the largest Thanksgiving-to-Thanksgiving increase in the debt in nine years. The last time the debt increased more from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving was in 2010, when it increased by $1,785,995,360,978.10.

It also equals approximately $10,137.48 per household in the United States.
At the close of business on November 21, 2018—the day before last Thanksgiving—the federal debt stood at $21,769,263,916,844.09. At the close of business yesterday, it stood at $23,072,730,495,315.54.

That equaled an increase of $1,303,466,578.471.45.

That Thanksgiving-to-Thanksgiving increase in the debt worked out to approximately $10,137.48 for each of the 128,579,000 households the Census Bureau estimates there are in the United States in 2019.

The full federal debt of $23,072,730,495,315.54 now equals $179,444 per household.

FBI Uncovers New Clinton Emails

by Judicial Watch: Judicial Watch today released a court filing that reveals the FBI found more Clinton emails it recently turned over to the State Department for review. In the November 15, 2019 filing, the State Department informs the court that the FBI located additional Clinton emails that potentially had not been previously released:

[T]he Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI”) recently sent [the State Department] additional documents as part of the ongoing inter-agency consultation process in connection with other FOIA litigation. [The State Department] is working to determine whether that set of documents includes any responsive, non-duplicative agency records that have not already been processed. [The State Department] will promptly update [Judicial Watch] and the Court once that initial review is complete.
The court ordered joint status report was filed in response to Judicial Watch’s May 6, 2015, FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of State (No. 1:15-cv-00687)). Judicial Watch’s FOIA lawsuit seeks all emails sent and received by Hillary Clinton and other records about her non-governmental email account.

Production of all Clinton emails concluded more than a year ago. Throughout the two plus years of processing and production, more and more emails would appear in addition to the 55,000 pages Clinton turned over to the State Department in December 2014. The FBI uncovered 72,000 pages of documents Clinton attempted to delete or did not otherwise disclose. Previously requested, the FBI was only able to recover or find approximately 5,000, including classified material, of the 33,000 government emails Clinton removed and tried to destroy. Earlier this year, Judicial Watch announced that it received 756 pages of emails that were among the materials Clinton tried to delete or destroy, several of which were classified and were transmitted over her unsecure, non-“state.gov” email system. Now again, it appears the FBI has uncovered more Clinton email documents.

Judicial Watch last week released FBI emails showing that the FBI’s top lawyer gave deferential treatment to the attorney representing Hillary Clinton’s top aides implicated in the mass deletion of Clinton’s emails.

“It is astonishing news that the FBI mysteriously found more Clinton emails. Were they on Anthony Weiner’s laptop? At James Comey’s house? Or on Peter Strzok’s cell phone?” asked Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “This disturbing development further highlights how the fix was in on the Clinton email scandal and why a criminal investigation needs to be reopened by Attorney General Barr.”

In separate Judicial Watch FOIA litigation, a federal court will soon rule on whether Hillary Clinton and her top aide can be questioned under oath by Judicial Watch lawyers about the email and Benghazi controversies. The court has already granted additional discovery to Judicial Watch.

The court ordered discovery into three specific areas: whether Secretary Clinton’s use of a private email server was intended to stymie FOIA; whether the State Department’s intent to settle this case in late 2014 and early 2015 amounted to bad faith; and whether the State Department has adequately searched for records responsive to Judicial Watch’s request. The court specifically ordered Obama administration senior State Department officials, lawyers and Clinton aides to be deposed or answer written questions under oath. The court ruled that the Clinton email system was “one of the gravest modern offenses to government transparency.” (This Judicial Watch FOIA lawsuit led directly to the disclosure of the Clinton email system in 2015.)

The War Against Native American Women

by Newt Gingrich: As we come together this week to join with friends and family, we should all recognize that many in America – including those indigenous peoples with whom we shared the first Thanksgiving – have little to celebrate.

In addition to widespread poverty, insufficient health care, and a host of other challenges, Native American communities in America face persistent, egregious violence. In fact, Attorney General William Barr this week has done the country a badly needed service by pointing out that there is a virtual war against Native American women.

Before you think “war” is too strong a term, consider these facts.

According to The Associated Press, the Urban Indian Health Institute reported 5,712 indigenous women were murdered or went missing in 2016 alone. Of that staggering number, only 116 were listed in a U.S. Department of Justice database tracking such statistics. Further, the National Institute of Justice estimated that 1.5 million Native American women have experienced violence in their lives – and more than half experienced sexual violence.

No American can be comfortable with a level of violence which affects more than a million women. It should be completely unacceptable that of the 5,712 cases of missing and murdered Native American girls, only 2 percent – one out of every 50 cases – makes it to the Justice Department database.

According to Congressman Tom Cole of Oklahoma, who is himself a tribal member, 2016 DOJ National institute of Justice reports reveal even more grim figures – estimating that more than four out of five Native American women have experienced violence, with more than half experiencing sexual violence.

As Cole put it, “Native women are more than one and half times more likely than White women to have experienced violence in the past year. Even more chilling, Native women face murder rates more than 10 times the national average in some parts of the country.” Cole went on to point out that 96 percent of those who had been sexually assaulted were attacked by non-Native Americans.

Congressman Cole and others are taking steps to protect Native American girls and women.

As Cole wrote recently:
“I was proud to join with several of my House colleagues to introduce the Bridging Agency Data Gaps and Ensuring Safety (BADGES) for Native Communities Act. This bipartisan legislation addresses inefficiencies in federal criminal databases and increases tribal access to those databases. In response to the crisis of missing and murdered indigenous women, the BADGES Act also rightly seeks to improve public data on those cases while promoting more efficient recruitment and retention of Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) law enforcement. Moreover, the legislation would provide tribes with resources to improve public safety coordination between their governments, states and federal agencies.”Take a minute this holiday season celebrating family and friends and let your Representative and your Senators know that you want action taken to protect these vulnerable girls and women.

Fight for the Freedom to Question Vaccines

Very rarely do Hollywood celebrities stick their necks out on behalf of the concerns of ordinary parents whose voices have been suppressed by the liberal media, Silicon Valley and the political establishment of both parties. But this week, the actor and comedian used his formidable Twitter platform to stand against the increasing censorship of vaccine skeptics by Big Pharma and Big Tech. This is what speaking truth to power looks like.

With the Overton window on acceptable discourse about government-coerced immunization rapidly shrinking, Schneider's timing couldn't be better.

"Free Speech is ALL speech. Even the speech that you find repugnant," Schneider declared. "We don't need people deciding FOR us what to think, see or hear. That's a load of totalitarian crap." He singled out Amazon "banning books that dare question medical orthodoxy," as well as "Facebook, Google, (and) YouTube" for burying information inconvenient to vaccine manufacturers, their lobbyists and water-carriers in elected office.
As I reported in March, (see “Vaccines skeptics under siege,” March 6, 2019), social media kingpins in America have launched a crackdown on "anti-vaccine" speech by rigging search results and algorithms. A Pinterest insider confirmed to me recently that the image-sharing network's targeting of moms who shared negative memes and information about adverse vaccine reactions was the "canary" in the free speech coal mine. Facebook and Instagram also actively suppress vaccine-critical posts and re-direct them to government sources promoting vaccine mandates. One fact they aren't linking: $4 billion has been paid by the federal government to adults and kids harmed by vaccines.

Schneider’s call to arms comes as the state of New York considers a draconian law mandating that all children born after 2008 be required to take the HPV vaccine to attend school or day care. The shots are to be administered without parental consent. HPV stands for “human papillomavirus,” a usually harmless sexually transmitted disease — not a public contagion. Lead sponsor Brad Hoylman, a Democratic state lawmaker whose husband owns stock in pharmaceutical company Merck (maker of the HPV vaccine Gardasil), declares that the shot is “safe and effective.” But why make it mandatory for seventh grade girls and boys?
Answer: Merck, the HPV market promises an estimated $5 billion to $7 billion in sales by 2025 as the shot once sold as protection for girls and women against sexually transmitted warts transformed into a lucrative cervical cancer shield being promoted to both female and male ages 9-45.

"Safe and effective" is a lie. The science is far from settled. Japan suspended its HPV vaccination program aimed at teen girls after researchers reported adverse symptoms from chronic pain and motor impairment following immunization. Denmark reported multiple cases of girls developing autonomic dysfunction and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome after receiving HPV shots. In New York, a 21-year-old woman died of heart arrhythmia induced by an autoimmune response to the HPV vaccine; her family sued the U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary in federal court (private drug makers are shielded from liability) and received compensation for their daughter's vaccine-caused death in 2017. Government watchdog Judicial Watch reported in 2013 that the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program had paid out nearly $6 million in claims to 49 victims of HPV, including two deaths.

A 2015 study published in Human Vaccines and Immunotherapeutics reported that HPV vaccines failed to protect young women from certain high-risk HPV types and that more study was needed "to determine its effectiveness in a real-world setting." Meanwhile, French oncologist Gerard Delepine has reported a paradoxical effect of HPV vaccines on cancer rates across Europe: While other countries have reported increased cervical cancer rates as HPV vaccine uptake has risen since Gardasil was introduced in 2006, France (which has a low 15% uptake) saw steady declines between 1995-2017.

I've fought this battle before. It's not just speech-squelching Silicon Valley and special interest Democrats colluding to suppress the freedom to question mandatory vaccine programs and disseminate information challenging Big Pharma and Big Government's narratives. A decade ago, I sounded the alarm over former GOP Texas Governor Rick Perry's shocking executive order forcing every sixth-grade girl to submit to a three-jab regimen of the Gardasil vaccine and mandating that state health officials make the vaccine available "free" to girls ages 9 to 18 -- only eight months after the FDA had approved it.

Before backing down, Perry's Republican administration smeared Gardasil-mandate critics as fear-mongers and vaccine-skeptical parents as public health threats, while Merck's political action committee dumped nearly $400,000 into the Republican Governors Association (Perry's largest donor). I was dismissed as "fringe" for exposing shady science and conflicts of interest.

Most recently, an ignorant smear merchant for the conservative Washington Examiner derided me for having "peddled the lethal pseudoscience of anti-vaxxing amid a global health crisis spurred by that very movement" -- and deemed me "unworthy of America."

On the contrary, the "crisis" is vaccine-induced, and it is vaccine racket critics -- from the homeschoolers in flyover country to Rob Schneider in Hollywood -- who are the real patriots defending our freedoms of speech, assembly, press and conscience. Follow the money. Find the truth. Protect our children. That's the American way.

Dean Baquet, Mainstream Media Deserves The President’s Ire!

by Ken Blackwell, Contributing Author: The self-pity of liberal journalists is proof that President Trump is winning his fight against Fake News by exposing the rampant media bias against his administration.

Just recently, New York Times editor Dean Baquet told The Guardian that President Trump is endangering journalists’ safety by criticizing their work. “I think personal attacks on journalists, when he calls them names, I think he puts their lives at risk,” Baquet said.

Mind you, this is the same Dean Baquet who made targeting President Trump the core mission of the Grey Lady’s coverage. For those who may not recall, Baquet assembled Times staff in a closed door meeting in August to announce a new anti-Trump direction for the “paper of record.” Concerned that the Mueller report had landed with a dud, Baquet insisted that his staff pivot to covering President Trump’s “racism.”

“We built our newsroom to cover one story, and we did it truly well,” Baquet explained. “Now we have to regroup, and shift resources and emphasis to take on a different story.”

Under Baquet’s leadership, The New York Times has gone from a respected publication to a smear merchant. The leaked transcript from the August staff meeting revealed that the rot penetrates every nook and cranny of the paper’s operations.

After insisting for years that the President was a Russian agent, the Times determined that calling President Trump a racist would be a more effective approach than promulgating baseless conspiracy theories about him. That’s why they launched the “1619 Project,” a harebrained attempt to rewrite American history in a way that contradicts the patriotic narrative favored by the President and his supporters.

Despite his own more-or-less open declarations of partisanship, Baquet still thinks liberal journalists can elicit sympathy from the American public by painting themselves as victims. He couldn’t be more wrong.

The American people see the mainstream media’s coverage of this President for what it is: a partisan smear campaign. Coverage has been so manifestly one-sided that many journalists essentially operate as the communications arm for the left. President Trump was spot-on when he told the White House press pool, “I consider you a part of the Democrat Party.”

President Trump is not putting journalists’ lives at risk by calling a spade a spade. When he fights back against the fake news, he is doing a great service to the American people, most of whom fear that media bias is only going to get worse as the 2020 elections grow closer.

Naming and shaming so-called journalists who manipulate facts and distort reality to fit their own political narrative is the only way to expose their malfeasance so that the public can demand greater accountability from the media.

When Baquet and other journalists cry that it puts them at risk of physical harm, they’re really revealing their own fear of the public backlash that their shoddy journalism deserves.

If they want to recover the esteem they once held, journalists should start doing their jobs and covering the news objectively — and stop playing the victim card every time President Trump calls out their manifest bias.

Thanks, Private Property!

by John Stossel: Families will argue this Thanksgiving.

Such arguments have a long tradition.

The Pilgrims had clashing ideas about how to organize their settlement in the New World. The resolution of that debate made the first Thanksgiving possible.

The Pilgrims were religious, united by faith and a powerful desire to start anew, away from religious persecution in the Old World. Each member of the community professed a desire to labor together, on behalf of the whole settlement.

In other words: socialism.

But when they tried that, the Pilgrims almost starved.

Their collective farming -- the whole community deciding when and how much to plant, when to harvest, who would do the work -- was an inefficient disaster.

"By the spring," Pilgrim leader William Bradford wrote in his diary, "our food stores were used up and people grew weak and thin. Some swelled with hunger... So they began to think how ... they might not still thus languish in misery."

His answer: divide the commune into parcels and assign each Pilgrim family its own property. As Bradford put it, they "set corn every man for his own particular. ... Assigned every family a parcel of land."

Private property protects us from what economists call the tragedy of the commons. The "commons" is a shared resource. That means it's really owned by no one, and no one person has much incentive to protect it or develop it.

The Pilgrims' simple change to private ownership, wrote Bradford, "made all hands very industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been." Soon they had so much plenty that they could share food with the natives.

The Indians weren't socialists, either. They had property rules of their own. That helped them grow enough so they had plenty, even during cold winters.

When property rights are tossed aside, even for the sake of religious fellowship or in the name of the working class, people just don't work as hard.

Why farm all day -- or invent new ways of farming -- when everyone else will get an equal share?

You may not intend to be a slacker, but suddenly, reasons to stay in bed seem more compelling than they did when your own livelihood and family were dependent on your own efforts.

Pilgrim teenagers were especially lazy. Some claimed they were too sick to work. Some stole the commune's crops, picking corn at night, before it was ready.

But once Bradford created private lots, the Pilgrims worked hard. They could have sat around arguing about who should do how much work, whether English tribes or Indian ones were culturally superior, and what God would decree if She/He set rules for farming.

None of that would have yielded the bounty that a simple division of land into private lots did.

When people respect property rights, they also interact more peacefully.

At this year's Thanksgiving dinner, if people start arguing about how society should be run, try being a peacemaker by suggesting that everyone should get to decide what to do with their own property.

If your uncle wants government to tax imports or thinks police should seize people's marijuana, tell him that he doesn't have to smoke weed or buy Chinese products, but he should keep his hands off other people's property.

If your niece says everyone loves socialism now, remind her she has enough trouble managing her own life without telling the rest of the world what to do. When families don't agree, they certainly shouldn't try to run millions of other people's lives.

In America today, religious groups practice different rites but usually don't demand that government ban others' practices. Private schools set curricula without nasty public fights. Businesses stock shelves without politicians fighting about which products they should carry.

All those systems work pretty well. That's because they are private.

In most of our lives, private ownership makes political arguments unnecessary.

I'm thankful for that.

Learning to Love Big Sister

by Daniel Greenfield: Angela Peoples first became famous when she was photographed at a post-inauguration anti-Trump rally holding a sloppily hand-lettered sign reading, ”Don’t forget: White Women Voted for Trump.”

Peoples’ expression is surly. She’s sucking on a lollipop while her white baseball cap seems to say something about “killing people”. Her giant hoop earrings dangle listlessly. Behind her stand a trio of white women in pink genital hats, all smiles and selfies, with the Capitol Hill building behind them.

The racist sign tapped into a meme shaming white women as gender traitors. Peoples, a veteran lefty activist, parlayed that internet fame into a New York Times op-ed arguing that white women couldn’t be trusted. “White women are not unified in opposition to Trumpism and can’t be counted on to fight it. Instead, it’s the identity, experience and leadership of black women that we must look to,” she urged.

Her message was, "we need you to get out of the way and follow our lead." And "would-be candidates" were told to "step aside and make space for more black women."

That was two years ago.

Now Black Womxn For, an ad hoc coalition run by Peoples, has endorsed a white woman.

Or, as NBC News declares, "Warren wins 2020 backing of influential group of black women". How influential is the Womxn “collective” of Netroots activists in the black community? Not very. A more accurate headline would be, “Warren wins 2020 backing of hastily thrown together lefty group.”

But Warren responded to the endorsement by declaring enthusiastically that, "Black trans and cis women, gender-nonconforming, and nonbinary people are the backbone of our democracy."

Who knew our country really was run by the 1%? Or the 0.00001%.

Despite Warren’s assertion, none of the Womxn leaders seem to be especially “trans” or “gender non-conforming”. Some are lesbians. That’s about as far as the “Womxn” thing seems willing to take it.

What the “Womxn” lack in “trans” and “nonbinary” people, they make up for in bigots.

Senator Elizabeth Warren not only welcomed the support of Peoples, who had spent years bashing white women, but also Charlene Carruthers, an anti-Israel activist, formerly of Color of Change, who sits on the board of the Women's March, which has its own notorious anti-Semitism problem.

Carruthers has tweeted approvingly about Louis Farrakhan, accused Israel of “apartheid”, and endorsed BDS. She led an anti-Israel delegation to Israel and accused the Jewish State of a “massacre” in Gaza.

Carruthers appears to have tweeted a selection of Farrakhan quotes, including, "Integrating the Bedroom not the Boardroom." This is a familiar Farrakhan quote which opposes interracial marriage as a "hypocritical trick" by white people while urging a separatist black country.

This separatist black nation probably won’t be run by Elizabeth Warren. Or will it?

Warren's new endorsee also claimed that, "Minister Farrakhan is speaking the truth about HIV/AIDS." It's not clear exactly what exactly she's referring to, but the Nation of Islam hate group leader has claimed that AIDS is a government bioweapon aimed at black people. People associated with the Nation of Islam have also claimed that Jewish doctors were injecting the virus into black babies.

This is Senator Warren’s idea of “the backbone of our democracy”.

Other members of the "steering committee" of Black Womxn For include Rukia Lumbumba, the sister of Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba, who boasted that he would make Jackson, Mississippi into the "most radical city on the planet", Carmen Berkeley, the Managing Director for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Nicole Carty of Occupy Wall Street, and a number of other veterans of lefty activist groups.

Also known as the octopus in the swamp.

And Anoa Changa, who ran into controversy over her appearances on Russia's Sputnik. When Elizabeth Warren accuses President Trump of being in bed with the Russians, she can look at her own endorsees.

But what’s really behind this endorsement?

Peoples has gone from bashing white women to fighting for one while using the language of black nationalism. As director of Black Womxn For, Peoples and her group claimed that "a Warren victory ensures an environment in which Black community leaders can better and more easily usher in those long-overdue societal transformations that move us closer to the Liberation that we know is possible."

By that they mean, "Black Liberation". And by "Black Liberation", they mean appointing "Black women, especially trans and immigrant women, Black men, Indigenous people, people of color and disabled people" to government positions. Some of whom will presumably be affiliated with BWF.

“Liberation” will be brought to you by political sinecures and the spoils system. "She is a woman who is willing to learn, open to new ideas, and ready to be held accountable by us," the endorsement reads.

In two years, Peoples has gone from demanding that white women follow black women to rejecting a black woman, Senator Kamala Harris, and endorsing a white woman, Warren, while pretending that the power relationship is with her, rather than with Warren. Even Peoples’ racism and black nationalism proved to be transactional. Or rather, what they had always been, a façade for the usual lefty politics.

Black Womxn For is described as a project of ‘The South’ which is run by Peoples. What’s ‘The South’? It’s apparently a brand. There are few references to it online. There’s a YouTube channel with 8 subscribers whose video about Peoples (which has 1,038 views) begins with the assertion that the “most beautiful people in the world” are “black people”. Unless they’re Cherokee academics offering you a job.

In the interview, Peoples, who is modestly wearing a t-shirt with her own picture on it, castigates “white women’s racism”, claims that an “overwhelming majority of white women voted for Donald Trump”, and then defines that overwhelming majority as being 53%. There are no comments.

Peoples is also listed as the “founder” and “lead strategist” of MsPeoples. It has no internet presence.

How desperate is Warren for black support that she and her allies were trumpeting this nonsense?

Meanwhile the likely reason why Peoples threw her support behind Warren is a detail hidden in her bio. Peoples was a policy analyst for Elizabeth Warren’s Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and had been working there nearly since its creation, back when the failed agency was Warren’s “baby”.

Peoples has thrown her support behind Warren, whose agency she worked at, in exchange for government jobs provided through input by Black Womxn For through Warren’s transition team.

Truly, the age of “Liberation” is upon us.

Who else backs this mighty endorsement of Warren? According to the endorsement, it was based on "hundreds of survey responses from self-identified progressive Black women and GNC/NB folks."

Hundreds.

If they’re self-identified black women, was Rachel Dolezal allowed to participate?

Senator Warren is desperate for black voters. They’re Biden’s base. If the Democrat base were entirely white, Warren would already have the nomination locked up. To stop Biden, she needs to make a serious dent among his black supporters, but is so unable to connect with them that her campaign is touting an endorsement from her home base of Netroots activists as if it were an achievement.

And she’s willing to ignore as much bigotry as it takes to win the support of her new base of bigots.

Five-Time Freed Illegal Alien Accused of Killing 70-Year-Old Father of Two

by John Binder: An illegal alien who was repeatedly freed from Florida law enforcement custody is now accused of killing a 70-year-old husband and father of two in a hit-and-run crash.

Ulises Mondragon Umanzor, a 30-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, allegedly illegally drove a forklift while illegally working for a construction company and hit 70-year-old James “Jim” Zakos, according to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

While Zakos was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead, Umanzor allegedly fled the crash and eventually got off the forklift and walked away even as an eyewitness told him to return to the traffic accident scene.

Zakos, his obituary notes, leaves behind his two children, Alexandra and TJ, his wife Celine, his two sisters Maria and Margaret, and his parents Thomas and Catherine.

“Many will smile when they hear his name,” his obituary states.

According to records, Umanzor was arrested in September 2011 in Palm Beach County for driving without a license and driving with an open container of alcohol. Despite being an illegal alien, he was released and re-arrested in February 2012 for again driving without a license.

After again being released from custody, Umanzor was arrested in November 2012 for possession of cocaine. The illegal alien was released again from custody and arrested in September 2016 and May 2018 for driving without a license. From all his arrests, Umanzor has more than $1,000 in outstanding debts to the state of Florida.

One of Us?

by Paul Jacob, Contributing Author: As the Democratic Party presidential campaign began heating up earlier this year, one of the stars faintly streaking across the sky was Washington State Governor Jay Inslee. In the over-populated ranks of presidential wannabes, he stood out not for being exceptionally nutty, but for so memorably presenting the new Nut Normal of America’s oldest political party.

In August he dropped out for lack of support, but that doesn’t mean his political career is over. He is back in his home state demonstrating the case for term limits.

That is, he is running for a third gubernatorial term.

Fortunately for Evergreen State voters, there are alternatives. Indeed, one in particular: Tim Eyman.

I mention Eyman often enough that I could almost get away without introducing him now. He is arguably the most effective user of initiative and referendum in the country — offering common-sense issues a majority of voters favor, especially tax limitation and reduction measures.

On his campaign website he sports a sweatshirt emblazoned with “Let the Voters Decide,” which is so democratic it almost makes you wonder why the state’s Democratic Party isn’t embracing him.

But we know why — the very last thing Democratic political machines want is democracy!

Running as neither an R nor a D, Mr. Eyman’s campaign slogan is “One of us as Governor!”

And considering the popularity of his many initiative measures designed to combat their elected representatives’ love of raising taxes and “fees” — especially on automobiles — as well as the way politicians in Olympia (including that ultimate insider, Inslee) freak out over the very name “Eyman,” it promises to be a very interesting and entertaining race.

When the House First Tried to Impeach a President, It Failed

His enemies in Congress sought to impeach President John Tyler "for ignorance of the interest
and true policy of this Government, and want of qualification for the discharge of [his] important 
duties."  The 10th president of the United States served from 1841 to 1845. 
by Fred Lucas: The president’s critics thought his presidency was illegitimate to begin with. His Cabinet members changed frequently. Mainly based on policy disagreements, members of Congress demanded his ouster.

Some lawmakers were willing to toss out constitutional norms based on what they said was the president’s “ignorance of the interest and true policy of this Government, and want of qualification for the discharge of the important duties” of his office.

But we’re talking 1843, not 2019.

In the midst of House Democrats’ impeachment inquiry targeting President Donald Trump, many pundits make comparisons to the impeachments of Presidents Andrew Johnson in 1868 and Bill Clinton in 1998, as well as the near-impeachment preempted by President Richard Nixon’s resignation in 1974.

But lawmakers’ first serious effort to impeach a president was against President John Tyler in 1843. And it didn’t succeed, not even in the House.

The attempt to impeach Tyler had some similarities to the Johnson impeachment: A vice president—with a history in the opposition party—takes the top job upon a president’s death but fails to get along with the elected president’s party in Congress.

The Whig ticket of William Henry Harrison and John Tyler—“Tippecanoe and Tyler too”—won by a decisive landslide in the 1840 election. Harrison scored 234 electoral votes and 53% of the popular vote to oust President Martin Van Buren, the unpopular Democrat, who collected just 60 electoral votes.

Harrison, a former Ohio senator, was known as “Tippecanoe” for his military heroism against Native American forces in the 1811 Battle of Tippecanoe in Indiana.

For vice president, the Whigs tapped Tyler, a former Virginia governor and U.S. senator. He was a Whig convert after leaving the Democratic Party in protest of President Andrew Jackson’s policies.

Harrison died one month after taking office, thrusting the United States into uncharted waters. Harrison’s Cabinet insisted that Tyler was only an acting president, but Tyler established a precedent that would hold by asserting that a vice president automatically moves into the presidency upon a vacancy in the office.

At 51, Tyler was younger than any other president before him.

The Whig-controlled Congress passed legislation to reestablish a national bank, which was the party’s biggest legislative goal. Tyler vetoed the bill, and seemed intent on blocking the fruition of other Harrison campaign promises. This enraged his fellow Whigs in Congress.

After Tyler’s veto of the bank bill, the Whigs voted to expel the president from their party—though he was still in office. And when Whigs resigned from his Cabinet, Tyler named Democrats to the vacant posts.

The frustration caused Rep. Henry Clay of Kentucky, a prominent Whig leader, to propose a constitutional amendment to allow Congress to override the president’s vetoes by a mere majority vote, rather than a supermajority. Despite Clay’s power in Congress, however, the measure went nowhere.

What really irked those in Tyler’s adopted party was his veto of two bills imposing higher tariffs on imported goods.

One Whig lawmaker accused Tyler of seeking to bring back “the condemned and repudiated doctrines and practices of the worst days of Jackson’s rule.”

That was a severe assessment, considering the unifying ideology of the Whigs was opposition to Jackson.

Before Jackson’s presidency, Congress was viewed largely as the policymaking body, and a president was expected only to veto legislation if he thought it unconstitutional, not because he disagreed with it.

So Whigs accused Jackson of wanting to be a king because of his vetoes, and they weren’t happy when the president elected on their own ticket began doing the same thing.

On July 22, 1842, Tyler’s fellow Virginian and Whig, Rep. John Minor Botts, filed the first formal action in the history of the House of Representatives to impeach a president of the United States.

The resolution called for a special committee to investigate possible charges of impeachment recommendations. The House initially tabled the resolution for further consideration, as Clay thought it premature.

That wasn’t the end of the Tyler impeachment effort, however.

Rep. John Quincy Adams, a Whig from Massachusetts and a former president himself, was chairman of a select committee that approved a resolution in August 1842 condemning Tyler’s “misuse” of the veto. The select committee’s action set up the possibility for impeachment.

Finally, in January 1843, the Botts impeachment resolution came to the House floor. The Whig majority, although not fond of Tyler, ultimately wasn’t quite ready to enter the realm of impeachment and possible removal by the Senate.

The House rejected the motion to investigate Tyler for the impeachable offenses of “corruption, malconduct, high crimes and misdemeanors,” by a vote of 127-83.

Despite his tumultuous relationship with Congress, Tyler had some significant accomplishments while serving most of the term that Harrison won—in particular the annexation of Texas. Tyler also pushed through the Webster-Ashburton Treaty to end a Canadian boundary dispute.

Tyler formed his own party, the Democratic-Republicans, in hopes of winning the presidency again but in the end dropped out of the 1844 race. But that’s another story.

The nation’s 10th president died in 1862 while serving as a member of the Confederate Congress.

In his run for President, Trump rightly, reasonably pointed out that Communist China is more than a little antagonistic towards US.

In ways too numerous to pretend Communist China isn’t – unless you’re a DC Swamp Creature cashing in on Communist China’s antagonism.

Trump pointed out the extreme fake “free trade” abuses Communist China inflicts upon us. And after a half century of this titanic nonsense – Trump promised to do something about it.

DC…wasn’t pleased. Democrats didn’t like their Communist patrons being targeted.

You remember California Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein. She’s the one who had a Communist China spy on her payroll for two decades…while she and her husband made millions of dollars in Communist China.

Feinstein’s Democrat Senate colleague – is Kamala Harris. She just arrived in the Senate – and is already looking for a promotion to the White House. In other words – she’s looking to defeat incumbent President Trump.

Candidates always look to differentiate themselves from their (prospective) political opponents.

Harris has chosen one way to do this with Trump – by taking Communist China’s position on IP.

Harris too wants to steal it.

“If they resist: ‘I will snatch their patent so we can take over.’

“Someone in the audience asks ‘can we do that?’

“‘Yes, we can do that! We just need the will to do that.’”

No, you can not do that, Harris.

Your Communist will is there – but our Constitution is not:

“The United States Congress shall have power…To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries.”

Nowhere in our founding document is the president expressly granted powers to short circuit the Copyright Clause – so you can “snatch” patents “so (you) can take over.”

Harris’ Patent Snatch Plan has nothing to do with the United States, its freedom economy…and the very necessary component thereof – protected IP.

It is, however, very Communist of Harris.

She should instead run for President of Communist China.
