One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics
is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. -- Plato
(429-347 BC)
by Ann Coulter: If the media can strangle Trump by terrorizing people about everything he says, then it's already over. I'm inclined to think Americans hate the media too much for that to work, but even sensible people can't think straight in the middle of one of these hate campaigns.
It can be very difficult for people to overcome whatever meaning the press superimposes on what someone has said, no matter how psychotic. Throw in incessant repetition and uniform agreement among the pundits (Hillary cheerleaders versus Never Trumpers), and completely deranged interpretations become historical facts.
Last August, Trump said the following about the way he was treated at the first GOP debate: "(Megyn Kelly) starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions, and you know, you can see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her -- wherever, but she was, in my opinion -- she was off base."
This was nearly identical to what Trump said about Chris Wallace a few sentences later: "There's a big difference between Mike Wallace and Chris Wallace because I watched them last night, you know, blood pouring out of his eyes, too."
Suddenly the words "her wherever" were being described as a clear-cut reference to Megyn's menstrual blood! (I have it on good authority that Chris Wallace has never menstruated.)
Trump expressed shock, saying of his accusers, "They have all dirty minds -- I never even thought about it ... I was thinking of ears or nose." (Accused by the same forces of something revolting, Whittaker Chambers gasped, "What kind of beasts am I dealing with?")
The day after Trump allegedly referred to Megyn's period, I happened to have a number of social engagements with people who hadn't heard about the scandale. So I gave them Trump's exact words, told them the media were in hysterics about it, and asked them to guess why.
None of them -- an Obama-voter, a conservative actor and a union organizer -- were able to guess the ludicrous interpretation being placed on Trump's words. At least one was visibly angry about the accusation (probably because he was on his period). But after a few weeks of media propaganda, even he flipped and became totally convinced Trump was, in fact, referring to Megyn's menstrual blood.
Most people are highly suggestible. That's why companies spend billions of dollars on advertising.
The only way to see how media propaganda works is to remove yourself from the immediate panic. In the calm light of day -- without people hectoring you from every news outlet, every moment of every day -- you can clearly see that two plus two does not equal five, but four.
My entire career has been a test-run for the hounds of hell they're unleashing against Trump on a daily basis right now. These hate campaigns were waged against me every few months for about a decade, until the media gave up and decided the better part of valor was to pretend I don't exist. It happened so often, I can't even remember them all, but a fan reminded me of a good one last week.
On "Good Morning America" about 10 years ago, I was asked about a (fantastic*) joke I'd told about John Edwards four months earlier. (That joke was also lied about, but that's not today's topic.)
Here's the "GMA" transcript, June 25, 2007:
CHRIS CUOMO (ABC NEWS)
(Off-camera) You say you were joking.
ANN COULTER (POLITICAL COMMENTATOR)
"Oh yeah. I wouldn't insult gays by comparing them to John Edwards. Now, that would be mean. But about the same time, you know, Bill Maher was not joking and saying he wished Dick Cheney had been killed in a terrorist attack. So I've learned my lesson. If I'm gonna say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot."
I'm not a rhetorician, but I believe this would be called a "syllogism," or "deductive reasoning":
It is acceptable for a person to say X;
I am a person;
Therefore it's acceptable for me to say X.
Or maybe it's just sarcasm about the media's rank hypocrisy.
Whatever it's called, the screamingly obvious point was to illustrate how our constitutionally protected guardians of liberty in the press go mental over my every joke, but don't make a peep about far more aggressive rhetoric from liberals.
Among the possible responses to what I said on "GMA" are:
-- That's different! Maher was talking about Dick Cheney.
-- We have a firm policy of pretending not to understand jokes about Democrats.
-- OK, OK, you're right. We were just trying to make you cry, so you'd either come to our side or stop writing.
In the realm of the sane, however, the possible responses do not include: ANN COULTER CALLED FOR JOHN EDWARDS TO BE KILLED IN A TERRORIST ATTACK!
Guess which one the entire media went with?
Mike Baker, Associated Press, Tuesday, June 26, 2007: "Elizabeth Edwards pleaded Tuesday with Ann Coulter to 'stop the personal attacks,' a day after the conservative commentator said she wished Edwards' husband, Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, had been killed by terrorists."
Marc Ambinder, Atlantic Online, June 26, 2007: "Coulter herself said, 'If I'm going to say anything about John Edwards in the future, I'll just wish he had been killed in a terrorist assassination plot.'"
Tom Foreman, CNN correspondent, June 27, 2007: "Conservative commentator Ann Coulter jokes about Democratic contender John Edwards being killed by terrorists."
CNN's Kiran Chetry, "American Morning," June 27, 2007: "Elizabeth Edwards confronting conservative commentator Ann Coulter ... She was referring to Coulter's comments the day before when Coulter said she wished Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards had been killed by terrorists. Coulter responded to Edwards' request with a laugh."
Harry Smith, CBS' "The Early Show," June 28, 2007: "Welcome back to 'The Early Show.' Conservative political commentator Ann Coulter is known for making outrageous comments. This week she said Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards should be killed in a terrorist assassination plot."
Hundreds of news outlets repeated this lie, without even mentioning Maher -- i.e., what we call "the point" -- although a few sportsmen included vague references to Maher's comment deep within their stories.
This isn't taking something "out of context" -- it's a lie. Try quoting the full sentence! Ironically, the media's rewrite pretty forcefully proved my point about the gigantic double standard for liberals and conservatives: In order to prove I was a monster, the media put a liberal's words in my mouth -- the exact same words they hadn't minded when a liberal said them.
I keep hearing abstract claims about Trump being "out of control," making "mistakes," saying "outrageous" things, but whenever I ask for a specific example, all I get are the media's apocryphal versions of what Trump has done -- never something he actually did.
All campaign news coverage today is an adaptation of MSNBC's "In Other Words" game, where a Republican saying, "I don't think Obama has been a good president" becomes HE CALLED OBAMA THE N-WORD!
The media may think their versions are logical extensions of what Republicans have said, but this is a presidential election. I think voters deserve to hear the truth and not Rachel Maddow's demented translations.
(*I'm not a professional comedian, but when a room full of 7,000 college Republicans laugh -- it was funny.)

by Phyllis Schlafly: Ann Coulter lives up to her reputation of issuing warnings and political comment that nobody else dares to say in her newest book, Adios, America! It’s aptly titled; she makes the case that it is Goodbye to the America we know and love if we don’t stop diluting our population with people who don’t love America, don’t respect our Constitution and laws, don’t even speak our language, and commit all sorts of unspeakable crimes.
Adios, America! brims with the scathing humor that has propelled Ann’s previous ten books into bestsellers.
Ann Coulter gives hundreds of specific examples of major crimes committed by illegal immigrants and, in particular, crimes against very young women and girls. She shows the devious ways that the media conceal the fact that these horrendous crimes are committed by illegals whom our government should never have let into our country.
The media cover-up doesn’t conceal merely the nationality of these criminals or the frequency of their crimes. The media cover-up also conceals the depravity of these crimes that are so horrific I can’t bring myself to describe them in this column.
Adios, America! spells out chapter and verse on the attitudes and customs of foreigners whom Obama is welcoming by the millions into America, including their horrific mistreatment of very young women and even some younger than teens. Where are the feminists when we need them to shout about the “war on women”?
There are many devious ways that foreigners can get into the U.S. and then cash in on our generous welfare system. One route is the family unification policy, which qualifies for entry all varieties of alleged relatives, plus fake marriages by foreigners to U.S. citizens.
The racket called asylum allows a foreigner to claim without proof that he faces persecution in his home country, and then he can qualify for admission to the U.S. plus generous financial support by the U.S. taxpayers. The Tsarnaev family, whose sons bombed the Boston Marathon, were admitted after phony claims of persecution and then cashed in for $100,000 in U.S. handouts.
Ann Coulter exposes the giant deception covered by the trendy liberal goal of “diversity” which excused dumping 100,000 Somalis on Minnesota. We’ve allowed 30 million Mexicans to settle inside our country; that’s one-quarter of Mexico’s entire population of 120 million.
In 2011, the Government Accountability Office reported that the minimum estimate of criminal aliens in U.S. prisons and jails was 351,000, a figure that includes only a portion of the criminal aliens incarcerated in state and local facilities.
Ann asks a relevant question, “Why can’t we adopt Israel’s policy on immigration?” What do you think Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would do if thousands of Israelis were being murdered by uninvited foreigners coming illegally into Israel?
If you guessed, “Give them in-state college tuition, driver’s licenses, and free medical care,” you would be laughed at. But that’s what Obama gives to our illegal aliens.
Ann Coulter’s book quotes scores of news reports describing the horrendous crimes committed by aliens against U.S. citizens, but somehow the news reports consistently fail to mention that the criminal was an alien. Here’s a typical headline: “Man wanted for Raping Girl, 11, Robbing Her Family.” The news story never used the word “immigrant” but described the criminal only as a “man,” or “a 26-year-old man.”
To illustrate the false slogan that “diversity is our strength,” Ann tells what happened to A.G. Currie Middle School in Tustin, California, which flew 65 foreign flags to make it a “model multicultural school” because, as its principal said in 1992, “we are looking to build on our diversity as a strength.” By 2009, the school had become 91% Hispanic. Ann’s comment: “Nine percent more Mexicans, and it will have achieved perfect diversity.”
When we’re told we can’t fence our southern border because “fences don’t work” — since people can always go over, under or around them — Ann responds: that’s like saying “wheels don’t work” because you might have a flat tire. And, remember, the Great Wall of China is still doing its job after centuries.
A new Gallup poll reports that Americans are becoming more liberal on social issues. In fact, Americans are becoming more conservative on many social issues such as pro-life, so our candidates don’t have to take any more advice from those highly paid strategists who tell them to avoid mention of social issues.
Americans want our border closed to this flow of anti-American foreigners and criminals. Thank you, Ann Coulter for alerting Americans to how Obama and the Democrats are destroying the land we love.

Love Ann Coulter's commentary and pointed banter. However, much of the banter was removed to highlight Coulter's important points. Thank you Ann Coulter and God Bless our troops including Commanding General Stanley McChrystal.
--------------- by Ann Coulter: The question of whether President Obama should send more troops to Afghanistan misses the point. . . . The most important part of warfare is picking your battlefield, and President Bush picked Iraq for a reason. Neither Iraq nor Afghanistan attacked us on 9/11 -- or the dozen other times American embassies, barracks and buildings came under jihadist onslaught since Jimmy Carter presided over "regime change" in Iran in 1979. Both countries -- and others -- gave succor to terrorists who had attacked the U.S. repeatedly, and would do so again.
As liberals endlessly reminded us during the three weeks of war in Afghanistan before the U.S. military swept into Kabul, Afghanistan has all the makings of a military disaster. It is mountainous, cave-pocked, tribal, has no resources worth fighting for and a populace that makes Khalid Sheikh Mohammed look like Alistair Cooke.
By contrast, Iraq had a relatively educated, pro-Western populace, but was ruled by a brutal third-world despot. . . . Not only could regime change in Iraq work, but Iraq's countryside was susceptible to America's overwhelming air power. Also, Iraq has fabulous natural resources. Once the U.S. got control of Iraq's oil fields, the Shia, Sunni and Kurds could decide to either prosper together or starve together. . . . By contrast, there aren't a lot of sticks that can be used in a wasteland like Afghanistan, where the people live in caves and scratch out a living in the dirt. . . .
But Democrats couldn't care less about military strategy . . . Liberals sneered at Bush's description of Iraq as the "central front of the war on terror" and a step toward the "democratization of the Middle East" . . . By design, Iraq was the central front in the war on terrorism. Any fanatic who hated the Great Satan, owned an overnight bag . . . was lured across the border into Iraq ... to be met by the awesome force of the U.S. military. Bush chose the battlefield that made the best flytrap for Islamic crazies and also that was most amenable to regime change.
Now nearly all denizens of the Middle East want the U.S. to invade them, so they can live in democracy, too. As Thomas Friedman inadvertently admitted, Lebanese voters credit their recent free election, in which the voters threw out Hezbollah, to President Bush. . . . Brave Iranian students who protested the tyrant Ahmadinejad did so because of Iraq -- and then they stopped because of Obama's indifference. Sadly for them, America's foreign policy will now be based on a calculus of political correctness, not national security.
During the campaign, Obama prattled on about Iraq being a "war of choice" and Afghanistan a "war of necessity" for no more thoughtful reason than a desire to win standing ovations from treasonous liberals. But lo and behold, those very liberals who were champing at the bit to fight in Afghanistan are suddenly full of objections to the war there, too. As Frank Rich points out: "Afghanistan is not Iraq. It is poorer, even larger and more populous, more fragmented and less historically susceptible to foreign intervention." . . .
Afghanistan is a brutal battlefield, largely invulnerable to modern warfare -- something the British and Russians learned. But as our military under Bush showed the world in 21 days, scimitar-wielding savages are no match for the voluntary civilian troops of a free people.
Bush removed the Taliban from power, captured or killed the lunatics and, for the next seven years, about the only news we heard out of Afghanistan were occasional announcements of parliamentary elections, new schools, water and electricity plants.
The difficult choice Obama faces in Afghanistan is entirely of his own making, not his generals' and certainly not Bush's. It was Obama's meaningless blather about Afghanistan being a "war of necessity" during the campaign that has moved the central front in the war on terrorism from Iraq -- a good battleground for the U.S. -- to Afghanistan -- a lousy battlefront for the U.S.
And it was Obama's idea to treat war as if it's an ordinary drug bust, reading suspects their Miranda rights and taking care not to put civilians in harm's way. A Democrat is president and, once again, America finds itself in an "unwinnable war." I know Democrats will never learn, but I wish the voters would. Ann Coulter at The Heritage Foundation: Political commentator Ann Coulter believes that immigration is the most important issue facing America today. If we don’t get it right, she says, debates over economics, foreign policy, and other issues just won’t matter.
Coulter makes the case in her new book, “Adios, America,” that it has been the goal of liberals for decades to fundamentally transform America by bringing in millions of immigrants from third-world countries to build their voting base.
As those familiar with Coulter know, she speaks her mind. Watch the interview to find out what she told us.

Editor's note: Great Snark by Ann Coulter. Unfortunately the "Washington political class" is showing it's "butt in public" which literally smells. They have opened themselves to Coulter's cutting satire.
by Ann Coulter: If you’re into self-dramatization, Donald Trump’s candidacy is perfect for you.
Half of the Washington political class is vowing to vote for Hillary — even Stalin! — over Trump; psychologists (and massage therapists) report they are treating patients for “Trump anxiety”; lengthy thought-pieces on Trump have no room to mention his signature issue, immigration, but get prolix on George Wallace, Mussolini and Hitler. (Never Mao, Stalin or Lenin, curiously.)
You’re going to have to act quickly if you hope to be among the first 200 princesses to feel the pea under 15 layers of mattresses.
To save you time, I will provide the prototype. Do not be surprised if the following turns up, word for word, under the byline of David Brooks, Stephen Hayes, Cokie Roberts, every single writer for Salon, Gawker, National Review, Commentary and The Huffington Post. And then, of course, Fareed Zakaria will steal it.

“J’accuse Donald Trump”
Watching the candidacy of Donald Trump, I am continually struck by his resemblance to a man who came to power in a far-off land nearly 85 years ago, a historical epic that I had naively hoped was well buried in the past.
Consider the following:
— Adolf Hitler held gigantic rallies, where he inspired millions with rousing speeches. Donald Trump holds gigantic rallies, where he inspires millions with rousing speeches.
— Adolf Hitler talked about making his country great again. Donald Trump talks about making his country great again.
— Adolf Hitler promised military victories. Donald Trump promises military victories.
— Adolf Hitler had a loyal and overweight henchman, Hermann Goering. Donald Trump has a loyal and overweight henchman, Chris Christie.
— Adolf Hitler blamed a specific group of immigrants for all the nation’s problems (Ed: Jews weren’t immigrants — Close enough!). Donald Trump blames a specific group of immigrants for all the nation’s problems.
— Adolf Hitler vowed to build a wall (Ed: Wait a minute — when did Hitler talk about a wall? Shhhh! Nevermind!) Donald Trump vows to build a wall.
— Adolf Hitler was a teetotaler. Donald Trump is a teetotaler.
— Adolf Hitler had a hobby that he enjoyed very much (painting). Donald Trump has a hobby that he enjoys very much (golf).
— Adolf Hitler had an opulent home in the city as well as a country home, “The Berghof” in Berchtesgaden. Donald Trump has an opulent home in the city as well as a country home, “Mar-a-Lago” in Palm Beach.
— Adolf Hitler was involved with a woman from Central Europe, Eva Braun. Donald Trump is married to a woman from Central Europe, Melania Knauss.
— Adolf Hitler had a pact with the Soviet Union from 1939 to 1941; Donald Trump said nice things about Russian president Vladimir Putin.
— Adolf Hitler required all non-Jewish, German civilians to greet one another with a rigid right-arm salute, while exclaiming “Heil!” or “Heil Hitler!” Donald Trump has asked audiences to promise to vote for him by raising their hands, which is the PRECISELY same thing.
— Adolf Hitler was a vegetarian; Donald Trump has never smoked.
— Adolf Hitler forcibly annexed Czechoslovakia. Donald Trump tried to merge two casinos in Atlantic City.
— Adolf Hitler invested hundreds of millions of dollars on German aviation to upgrade the Luftwaffe. Donald Trump has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in private jets.
— Adolf Hitler never had any children, but if he had, they would probably have been blond. Both of Donald Trump’s daughters are blond.
— Adolf Hitler’s favorite food was liver dumplings, a dish very similar to meatloaf. (Ed.: They’re not remotely similar. No one knows that.) Donald Trump’s favorite food is meatloaf.
— Adolf Hitler had light hair and a moustache. Donald Trump has light hair and a moustache. (This has not been definitively established, but some who knew Trump in the 1970s recall that he had a moustache, albeit a fuller, longer one.)
— One of Adolf Hitler’s idols was World War I fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, also known as “the Red Baron.” Donald Trump’s son is named Barron. (It’s spelled differently, but sounds the same.)
— Adolf Hitler liked Eva Braun because she was very attractive; Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, is very attractive.
— Adolf Hitler vowed to exterminate entire races; Donald Trump has vowed to exterminate ALL Mexicans and Central Americans. (Mr. Trump has yet to call for this, but if he had, it would be an amazing parallel and speak very ill of his character.)
— One of Adolf Hitler’s favorite desserts, not his No. 1 favorite, but one he enjoyed several times a year, was chocolate ice cream. Donald Trump has talked about formerly liking Oreos. (Recently, he vowed never to eat Oreos again because Nabisco moved its factories to Mexico. This does not negate his previous position on the cookie.)
— Adolf Hitler was known for erecting concentration camps – surrounded by walls to keep people out, particularly Mexicans. (Ed: That’s not true.) Donald Trump wants to build a wall.
— Allowing Adolf Hitler to come to power was a horrible mistake for an entire nation; allowing Donald Trump to come to power will be a horrible mistake for an entire nation.
In conclusion, [dramatic music plays] I have covered American politics for 30 years. For the first time in my life I am afraid for my country. Very afraid. Very, very afraid. Very, very, very afraid.

Coulter: How The Establishment Will TRY To Destroy Trump
Ann Coulter signs
"Adios America!"
for Dr. Bill Smith
ARRA News Service
-----------------
I knew she was right on target
with "Adios America" & I
believe she is right on target
with this warning about
"How the Esablishment Will
try to Destroy President
Donald Trump. Hoping
President- Elect Turmp
still reads her articles.
My vote for Director, Securing
the Border is Ann Coulter.
by Ann Coulter: Shortly before Thanksgiving, New York Times columnist Frank Bruni wrote a column that should chill you to the bone.
Titled "Donald Trump's Demand for Love," Bruni said: "I had just shaken the president-elect's normal-size hand and he was moving on to the next person when he wheeled around, took a half step back, touched my arm and looked me in the eye anew. 'I'm going to get you to write some good stuff about me,' Donald Trump said.”
Bruni is a fabulous writer, but if he ever writes good stuff about you, Mr. President-elect, YOU WILL HAVE FAILED.
I assume this was just our president-elect doing something he gets the least credit for, which is being nice. But you can never be too careful.
The Times is in total opposition to Trump's stated goal to make America great again. Trump has got to know -- not next year, but by 5 p.m. today -- that anyone pursuing his agenda will incite rage, insanity and spitting blood from that newspaper.
There's a long and tragic history of Republicans who won the war but lost the peace by trading results for respectability.
The first President Bush not only promised not to raise taxes, but also laid out the steps Democrats would take to get him to break that promise. "And the Congress will push me to raise taxes," he said in his iconic 1988 convention speech, "and I'll say no, and they'll push, and I'll say no, and they'll push again, and I'll say to them, 'Read my lips: No new taxes.’"
He was a good prognosticator! Congress did exactly as he'd anticipated. But instead of saying "no," Bush caved.
That betrayal cost the GOP its most popular issue. As the Times' Michael Wines put it (shortly before Bush predictably lost his re-election bid), with the president's sellout, Republicans gave up "a political weapon so fearsome that it had destroyed three Democratic presidential candidates in 12 years.”
The Times had spent months hectoring Bush about the "yawning deficit," denouncing his "obdurate refusal" to raise taxes, and promising "political popularity" for the "needed" tax hike. But the moment Bush raised taxes, the Times couldn't stop crowing about his broken promise.
That was always the whole point. Not the "yawning deficit." Not raising revenue. But to get the GOP to give up its most potent issue.
Trump has just annihilated 16 far more experienced Republican rivals, the Clinton machine and the entire media/Hollywood/Wall Street complex by raising the one issue no other politician would touch: putting America's interests first on immigration.
What promise do you think they want Trump to break?
Luckily for the country, Trump doesn't seem obsessed with what the elites think of him. But his advisers include just the type of Republicans whose second-tier law schools make them particularly susceptible to the cheap respectability of establishment media approval.
Trump has been a politician for only a little more than one year. He has no experience with the tricks that will be played to get him to betray voters on his signature issue. The first president Bush knew what was coming -- and he still broke his promise.
Manifestly, if anyone in Washington seriously wanted to build a wall, deport illegals, return criminal aliens to their own countries, end the anchor baby scam and prevent jihadists from immigrating here to kill Americans, it would have been done already.
Nearly every promise Trump made on immigration is 100 percent within the power of the president. For example:
It is already the president's job, as commander in chief, to protect the borders.
It is already the Department of Defense's job to build border walls.
It's already the law that citizenship is not acquired by being born on U.S. soil to an illegal alien. (No Congress has ever passed such a law, nor has the Supreme Court ruled that they are.)
It is already the secretary of state's duty to rescind visas from countries that refuse to take their criminals back.
It is already the president's job to prohibit the entry of any class of immigrants he deems "detrimental to the interests of the United States.”
It is already the president's job to remove immigrants who commit crimes, entered our country through fraud (i.e., every single refugee), are in the country illegally or who become public charges.
None of those things have ever been done before for one reason: The entire Washington establishment is unalterably opposed to enforcing our immigration laws.
Trump will have no trouble enacting the rest of his agenda. If congressional Republicans are good for anything, it is to repeal Obamacare, cut taxes and regulation, confirm good judges and protect the Second Amendment. No one but Trump would have done it, but not even Nancy Pelosi is going to attack Trump for keeping jobs in America.
Only when it comes to immigration will Trump be Gary Cooper, out there alone against every powerful entity in America. Just as he was during the campaign.
On immigration, Trump will be furiously opposed by: Democrats, Republicans, the permanent bureaucracy, the Chamber of Commerce, George Soros, The Wall Street Journal -- in fact, the entire media, except four webpages, six bloggers and five talk-radio hosts -- and hundreds of taxpayer-funded immigrant grievance groups. And that's just off the top of my head.
He'll even be opposed by his own hand-picked U.N. ambassador! (It is an amazing fact that at the 2016 State of the Union, both the Democratic president's address, and the Republican governor's response, attacked candidate Trump's immigration proposals.)
There's a reason millions of Americans were showing up at Trump's rallies chanting, "Build the Wall!" and not, "End Obamacare!" "Cut taxes!" "Save the Second Amendment!" -- or any other slogan that could have been chanted just as easily at a Jeb! Rally.
There are only a handful of people in the entire country with the knowledge and ability to enforce our immigration laws. Any Cabinet appointees likely to impress The New York Times aren't going to get it done. They won't have to expressly defy Trump. They just won't do it.
Perhaps they'll make some showy effort at deporting illegals -- and then back down at the first La Raza lawsuit. Or they will allow career government lawyers to submit briefs in court that cite all the wrong cases. Or they'll wait for Speaker Paul Ryan's approval to do anything. Or they'll be moved by a Nikki Haley speech about the vibrant diversity of Somali refugees. Or they'll be scared off by Washington bureaucrats who say, You can't do that!
But if Trump chooses from among the few people who know how to get it done (Kris Kobach, Kris Kobach or Kris Kobach), his promises will be kept. He can relax. He can spend all his time playing golf, living in Trump Tower, yelling at American CEOs trying to outsource jobs -- and engaging in appalling conflicts of interest with his businesses.
He could even shoot someone on Fifth Avenue. (I propose GOP consultant Rick Wilson!)
Trump is down to his last wish from Aladdin. He can impress The New York Times, or he can make America great again. But he can't do both.

by Ann Coulter: One thing no liberal will ever turn down is the opportunity to get a standing ovation for accusing someone else of racism.
Democrats have placed their opening bid in the immigration talks on Trump's 10-yard line -- a hilariously unbalanced "compromise" that is worse than their original proposal. Now, they are battering him with accusations of racism to force him into an amnesty deal that he was specifically elected to prevent.
Forced to choose, soccer moms are going with MSNBC -- and, hey, if that means we'll still have Rosa to clean the house, well, that's OK, too!
Liberals have gotten a free ride for too long on using phony claims of "racism" to promote policies that hurt black people but help themselves. It's like spoiling a kid; by the time he's 15, it's impossible to get him to clean his room.
The virtue signalers have been out in force lately, putting in museum-quality performances ever since receiving an unsubstantiated report about Trump's alleged "s---hole countries" comment in a private meeting.
At least all the raging sanctimony is based on a solid source: the claims of one guy with a track record of making up things said in private meetings.
Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) is the only person accusing Trump of referring to Haiti and African nations as "s---hole countries." Four people at the meeting deny it.
Headline on Politico: "Durbin Confirms Trump's "S---hole Remarks During Meeting"
Wow, so he not only leaked the remarks -- he confirmed them!
Just a few years ago, both the Obama White House and Republican House leaders denied Durbin's claim that a Republican congressman had said to President Obama, "I cannot even stand to look at you."
The four people who deny that Trump used the word "s---hole" are Trump himself, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and Sens. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) and David Perdue (R-Ga.). They have been required to retract nothing about the meeting. None of them have a history of being contradicted by both Republicans and Democrats over claims they made about a private conversation.
Media: WHY ARE SENS. COTTON AND PERDUE LYING ABOUT WHAT WAS SAID AT THE MEETING?
When it comes to Trump, our media have thrown the rulebook out the window. They make it up as they go along.
The virtue signalers are so proud of their anger, tears and profanity over Trump's alleged remark, they've taken to complimenting one another about their own performances:
You were awesome!
No, YOU were awesome!
Meanwhile, I can’t help but notice that there are some great openings for their kids at Haitian public schools in Brooklyn. We'd love to -- really -- but we've already made other arrangements (after pulling strings, waiting four years and paying tens of thousands of dollars to make sure their kids never go to school with blacks or immigrants).
I also can't help but notice that just as black Americans had won their full civil rights and were about to burst into the American economy ... Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-Mass.) helped pass the 1965 immigration act that began dumping millions and millions of low-wage workers on the country to compete with them.
Obviously, the people hurt most by the mass immigration of low-skilled workers are black Americans, aka, The Only Reason We Care So Much About Racism. I refer you to the Jordan Report -- overseen by actual civil rights icon Barbara Jordan.
Far from making up for the legacy of slavery, our immigration policies solve the exact same problem that slavery solved: rich people's eternal need for cheap labor.
We don't owe immigrants anything. They aren't black Americans. We didn't do anything to the Mexicans streaming across our border. Or, for that matter, to the Haitians, Ecuadorians, Pakistanis and so on. No slavery, no Jim Crow laws, no redlining -- just billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid. (Hey, does anyone know if billions of dollars would be enough to pay for a wall?)
We certainly don't owe them more than we owe our own fellow citizens, especially our black fellow citizens, who could use our help.
But foreigners who showed up yesterday act like they're the descendants of American slaves, helping themselves to the jobs, affirmative action, government assistance and racial sensitivity meant for the likes of John Lewis and Chris Rock, not illegal alien Jose Antonio Vargas. (Not that Lewis and Rock need set-asides, etc, but they're the ones who deserve them.)
Our country is hypersensitive about race because of specific injustices done to black Americans, not because we wanted to shower favors on anyone in need of a handout who manages to sneak into our country.
The Democrats treat black people like the wife who will iron your shirt for a date with your mistress. They know they don't have to do anything to keep winning 90 percent of the black vote, so they've dedicated themselves to bringing in millions of Latin Americans who will vote for them -- and also do their gardening.

Protestors Dressed as Nazis Tried to Shut Down Ann Coulter During a Free Speech Panel
by Christopher A. Guzman: New York Times best-selling author, columnist, and speaker Ann Coulter was participating in a panel discussion titled "Censorship on Campus" at Politicon, an annual "non-partisan" convention that brings people of all stripes together to see their favorite pundits, politicians and more.
But before she could get in a word, two protestors dressed as Nazis started shouting her down in an effort to silence her.
It took some time for the disruptive individuals to be booted out of the room. It didn't appear that the event's organizers were prepared for this sort of thing to happen.
Joining Coulter on the panel were Axios Vice President Evan Ryan, stand-up comic Gregg Proops, Townhall.com Political Editor Guy Benson and tech culture journalist Xeni Jardin.
Ann got in a joke at the costumed protestors' expense, as tweeted by an individual also watching the chat.
@AnnCoulter said she was happy the liberal protestors dressed as Nazis to protest her showed up in their "natural garb"! 😂#politicon2017

Media Find Las Vegas Shooter's Motive: He's White!
Ann Coulter signing "Adios America!" for ARRA News Service editor.
by Ann Coulter: If the media are going to keep wailing about how vital a free press is, could they start reporting stuff?
There's a remarkable number of dangling facts about Stephen Paddock's mass murder in Las Vegas, which the media have shown little inclination to investigate. It's almost as if they're worried that too much investigation will ruin it.
For example:
Who was the woman shouting, "YOU'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!" right before the concert? Is any reporter interested in finding out? Probably a random crazy lady, but that's not typical pre-concert behavior.
Why is it taking so long to find out if anyone else went into Paddock's hotel room since he checked in last Thursday? I'm perfectly prepared to accept that he was the only one who entered that room, but can we see the surveillance video?
The sum-total of the information we know about Marilou Danley, the woman who's been living with Paddock for years is the following: She was out of the country at the time of the attack. She's not involved.
Paddock had apparently assembled an enormous arsenal of weapons. Did she know about it? Did he tell her why? Had his behavior changed recently? Why wasn't he with her on her trip? Had they broken up? And why did Paddock recently wire $100,000 to the Philippines?
Within hours of the first indictments in the Duke lacrosse case -- later, all thrown out -- the media was bristling with information about the players' parents, the homes they grew up in, the ritziness of their neighborhoods, and the tuition at their Catholic high schools. Doesn't any reporter want to ask Danley anything?
Do we know yet why Paddock broke two windows? What were his recent winnings or losses at gambling?
I don't know if any of this would change the basic narrative. But the media don't know, either, and they seem strangely reluctant to ask. As Sherlock Holmes said: First, you exclude the impossible, and whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth. Our media isn't doing the reporting that would allow us to exclude anything. And then they wonder why conspiracy theories develop.
The media's idea of hard-hitting investigative reporting is to taunt gun-owners and white men. Making snarky political remarks is Job No. 1 of reporters. Apparently, it's also the new job description for late-night comics. As long as we're looking for jobs that Americans just won't do, maybe we could find some immigrants to tell jokes and report news.
We're getting a lot of smirky, celebratory headlines, like these:
AMERICA'S WHITE MAN PROBLEM
HOW AMERICA HAS SILENTLY ACCEPTED THE RAGE OF WHITE MEN
THE WHITE PRIVILEGE OF THE "LONE WOLF" SHOOTER
While it's great that liberals have finally found a mass murder that they don't think can be defeated with a "Je Suis Charlie" hashtag, they're either lying or they don't know what they're talking about. Blacks and Hispanics are extremely well-represented as perpetrators of mass shootings, Muslims are over-represented, and surprisingly, even the usually law-abiding Asians more than hold their own.
Typical Reporter: Yeah, we decided not to go with the mass shootings at the Tennessee church, the Washington Navy Yard, San Bernardino, the Pulse nightclub, Fort Hood, the LIRR, the Carson City IHOP, the Trolley Square Shopping Mall, the Windy City Core Supply warehouse, Virginia Tech, the Binghamton Civic Center, the Hartford Distributors, the hunting tract in Wisconsin, the Appalachian School of Law … and on and on and on.
And those are just a few of the famous ones! It's hard to notice what's not there, so it's especially annoying that the journalist's method of illustrating mass murderers is to assemble pictures of all the mass shooters, but then only show the white guys.
There was one characteristic of white men in abundant evidence at the Las Vegas massacre. They're awfully chivalrous, these white male country music fans. Twenty-two thousand people came under sustained, high-powered gunfire and few people, if any, were stomped to death -- something you can't say for a Black Friday sale at a Long Island mall.
At the Las Vegas concert, men died protecting women, using their bodies as shields and standing up in the middle of gunfire to direct the women to safety. The New York Post reports that one woman said she "was running away and a couple of guys said, 'Hey, come stand behind us,' and boom, they went down.” Heather Melton has described how she felt her husband, Sonny, being shot in the back, fatally, as he shielded her from the rain of bullets.
Without many facts to go on, the only sweeping conclusion we can make so far is that there's a reason feminism didn't emerge from the country music community.

Ann Coulter signs "Adios America!"
for ARRA News Service editor.
by Ann Coulter: Does anyone know why President Trump loves "Dreamers" -- i.e.: illegal aliens allegedly brought here before the age of 12 (which no federal judge will ever check) by their parents (which no federal judge will ever check), "through no fault of their own" (which no federal judge will ever check)?
We've been lectured by Mark Zuckerberg about how much better "Dreamers" are than you lazy Americans -- especially African-Americans, whose jobs are disproportionately taken by illegals. (As former Mexican President Vicente Fox once charmingly put it, illegal immigrants "are doing jobs that not even blacks want to do there in the United States.")
So why aren't we being bombarded with television interviews and profiles of these amazing human beings?
Liberals can't make an argument without producing a victim. Attack the media -- they bleat about journalists getting shot in the face while reporting abroad. Complain about FBI corruption -- they choke up over G-men putting their lives on the line EVERY DAY! Denounce the Deep State -- they moan that CIA officers have been killed in the line of duty.
Isn't this the moment for our hearts to be breaking over the millions of wonderful "Dreamers" who will suffer unless we amnesty them immediately?
Let's see 'em! Surely they've got a few Einsteins! After all, the media are capable of turning a gang-admiring thug who forcibly robbed a convenience store and assaulted a cop into "Gentle giant, Mike Brown." They turned jewelry-stealing juvenile delinquent Trayvon Martin into an altar boy.
But even MSNBC dare not show us Trump's beloved "Dreamers." The snarling Muslim showcased by the Democrats at their 2016 convention has gotten more airtime than any "Dreamer."
There are plenty of vague descriptions of "Dreamers," all of whom seem to be valedictorians. But can anyone identify precisely what they have contributed to our country -- other than lots of police work, welfare and protests?
The best "Dreamers" always sound like the "honor student" in Tom Wolfe's Bonfire of the Vanities: "somebody who attends class, isn't disruptive, tries to learn, and does all right at reading and arithmetic."
How about MSNBC interview five new "Dreamers" every night? Five non-hateful ones are probably the most they could get.
As long as Trump is going to keep babbling about these "absolutely incredible kids" -- "I love these kids!" -- and obstinately refuse to deport them, he must have met thousands of them. He plans to amnesty millions.
Why doesn't Trump showcase his favorite two dozen "Dreamers"? Let the rest of us decide how “incredible” they are.
But no Glamour magazine profiles, please! We want to know everything, e.g.: How much have they cost the taxpayers in free school lunches and medical care? How many anchor babies have they had? What percentage have been convicted of a felony or killed someone in a drunk driving accident? How many have been admitted to college by taking affirmative action spots intended for the descendants of American slaves?
In 2009, The New York Times' Lawrence Downes gushed over illegal alien Benita Veliz. Three years later, liberals still hadn't come up with a better one: In 2012, she was the featured illegal alien at the Democratic National Convention. (It only seems like the Democrats have an illegal alien speak at all their conventions. Veliz was the first.)
Downes ticked off Veliz's "impressive" accomplishments: "She was valedictorian at Jefferson High School" -- naturally! -- "graduating at age 16. She went to St. Mary's University in San Antonio on a full scholarship." (A scholarship, I note, that otherwise might have gone to a yucky American.)
I gather Veliz is the left's designated baby seal of "Dreamers."
Veliz is probably a nice lady, but she was valedictorian at a school that Downes would never send his kids to. Jefferson High School is 98 percent minority, less than half the students are "English proficient," and only 16 percent are ready for college.
HOW DID AMERICA EVER GET BY WITHOUT HER?
Or to use Downes' more-relaxed standard: "How will this country be a better place once we force Benita Veliz to leave it?"
Off the top of my head: There would be less strain on education budgets, hospital emergency rooms, roads and bridges, and that college scholarship Veliz got would be open to an American kid.
This is a country built by Western Europeans. Immigrants arrived after it was already set up and running well. The idea that any immigrant who hasn't committed a felony is someone we can't live without is absurd.
If you're a yuppie in a rich white area and don't like cleaning your toilets, the Trump administration has been great for you. But if you're a Trump voter, you're scratching your head wondering what happened to those campaign promises that set him apart from every other Republican.

GOP Midterm Slogan: 'We Need Guest Workers To Do Your Jobs!'
Ann Coulter signs "Adios America!" for ARRA News Service editor.
by Ann Coulter: At a rally in Michigan last weekend, President Trump promised to bring in lots of guest workers to -- I quote -- "do your jobs."
Once, long ago, Trump was against replacing American workers with cheap foreign labor.
Back when Trump was invincible, he sounded more like this:
Breitbart News: "Hundreds of workers at Disney were forced to train their foreign replacements. ... [Rubio's new bill] has zero protections for American workers. ... Rubio's bill is even endorsed by the CEO of Disney. What do you think of Rubio's bill?"
Trump: "It's a disaster. It would allow any company in America to replace any worker with cheaper foreign labor. It legalizes job theft. It gives companies the legal right to pass over Americans, displace Americans, or directly replace Americans for good-paying middle-class jobs. ...
"I am calling TODAY on Disney to hire back every one of the workers they replaced, and I am calling on Rubio to immediately rescind his sponsorship of the I-Squared bill and apologize to every Floridian for endorsing it."
To paraphrase Ray Donovan, where do I go to get my Trump back?
Now that he's president and could actually implement all those great things he ran on, Trump sounds like Liddle Marco.
This was Trump on Saturday night: "We need people to be able to come into our country, do your jobs, help you on the farms. ... Guest workers, we're going to take care of that. Guest workers. Don't we agree? We have to have them. We have to have them."
It went on like this for an eternity.
Liberals love to sneer about the bovine idiocy of Trump supporters, who are allegedly incapable of processing basic information. (See Evan Osnos, every week in The New Yorker.) The dead silence that greeted Trump as he blathered about replacing Americans with guest workers proves that Trump voters are listening quite closely.
The president needs to understand, unless he drops his bizarre and totally uncharacteristic desire to bring in people to do your job, the voters might just bring in someone else to do his.
The plus side of the midterm elections is that liberals have gone mad. The minus side is that voters intensely hate Republicans. Liberal insanity is not going to save a GOP dead set on pleasing the donor class by screwing over ordinary Americans. As usual.
It was hatred for Republicans that drove millions of voters to Trump in the first place.
The same conservative talking heads who think the GOP is going to be fine by focusing on those great tax cuts – we'll get to immigration soon, promise! -- spent the first six months of Trump's candidacy indignantly informing us that he was "not a Republican."
They said it was "unhealthy" for the party to be debating mass deportations. Trump "hasn't really stood for Republican things." The "summer of Trump" would come to a quick and deserved end. The danger, standard-GOP conservatives told us, was what Trump's candidacy "can do to the GOP brand."
I thought the 2016 election would finally be enough to convince everyone that the Republican "brand" is not worth saving. It's like trying to buy the rights to the name "the U.S.S.R."
Trump won by making the election about all the things Republicans would never talk about. Principally, this was immigration. (Duh.) Trump also had a refreshing new approach to dealing with ISIS: Don't bring them here. This is what happens when you run around the world kicking over hornets' nests.
The cowardly GOP was too terrified of the media to ever run on any awesome issues. Only Trump did, and, for that reason, nothing could stop him.
But now he seems to think he can win the midterms by hewing to the loser wing of the Republican Party. We've got to save the GOP "brand"! What does Marc Short say? RUN ON TAX CUTS!
Yeah, that'll do it.
There's still time to hold the Democrats to a blue eddy this fall. All it takes is Trump keeping his promises on immigration and not starting a war. (Who could have guessed it would be so difficult for a president not to start a war?)
Every journey begins with a small step, and this one begins with Trump firing everyone in the White House. They're the ones who have encouraged him to ignore his promises for so long.
Even the "3-D chess" lunatics don't say, It's great that Trump is screwing over his voters, like Republicans always do! What they say is: Through some innate sixth sense, a higher vision, a third eye, Trump has an immensely complicated plan that you can't understand to make things come out exactly the opposite of the way they are currently headed.
Maybe. But if Trump doesn't do something major on his central campaign promise -- not repainting border fences and telling us it's the wall -- see you on Nov. 7.

by Ann Coulter: We have never had total war against a candidate like we’re seeing with Donald Trump. All elements of national media are uniting to stop him.
Look for a fake Trump scandal to break — probably from a conservative news outlet — right before the Iowa caucus.
A few months ago, an alleged Trump quote from a 1998 People magazine interview was circulating on the Internet, claiming Trump said that if he ever ran for president, he’d run as a Republican because Republican voters are “the dumbest group of voters in the country. They believe anything on Fox News. I could lie and they’d still eat it up.”
I pay a lot for Nexis, and Trump has never said anything remotely resembling this. Snopes.com investigated, too, and also concluded the quote was a fake. But you can probably still find some idiot tweeting it out right now.
Last week, Glenn Beck “retweeted” a post allegedly tweeted by Trump the day after the 2012 election, saying: “I always vote for the winners! Congratulations to My Friend, @BarackObama!”
If that doesn’t sound like Trump, it’s because Trump never said it. Beck’s retweet sure made it look real, but you can check Trump’s Twitter archive.
All the stories about Trump being a fraud keep turning out to be the real frauds. I assume that, like most sentient beings, he’s changed his mind about some things. But the one consistent thread running through his entire life is his love for this country and his fellow Americans.
The attacks on Trump from the “conservative” media calling him a socialist, a Democrat, a flip-flopper, a fake conservative are just name-calling. I notice that the accusers never include examples, not true ones, anyway. Here are some examples of how Trump has always been for Americans first. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a president who likes us more than he likes foreigners — and the rich donors who employ them?
In 1986, Trump saw a TV broadcast with Annabell Hill, whose 67-year-old husband had committed suicide 20 minutes before their family farm was to be auctioned off in a foreclosure sale, hoping the life insurance money would be enough to save the farm. It wasn’t.
Trump immediately called Annabell, promising to save her farm and pledging $20,000 toward the effort. “Last night when he called, my heart went pitter patter,” Annabell told ABC’s World News Tonight. “I never talked with a man with that much money before. And he assured me that one day the land would be mine. I thought, after I hung up, ‘This can’t be true, this just can’t be true.'”
As Trump explained to The Atlanta Constitution at the time, “I’ve seen what’s happened to farmers, but I was particularly interested in a lovely woman I saw, Annabell Hill.”
Within a month of Trump’s launching a national campaign with two other businessmen to save Annabell’s farm, they had raised more than $100,000. One of the businessmen, Frank A. Argenbright Jr., said, “That is thanks totally to Mr. Trump and his organization. Most of the money has come from the New York area.”
By Christmas that year, Annabell and her entire family flew to New York to burn the mortgage in the lobby of Trump Towers and have Christmas dinner with the Trump family. The lovely Annabell said, “Well, we have a real celebration not only to celebrate the birth of Jesus but also to celebrate the goodness in men’s hearts.”
Thirty years ago, Trump wasn’t thinking about running for president. And yet, this is how he explained his campaign to save Annabell’s farm, as quoted by The Associated Press: “We give a lot of money to foreign countries that don’t give a damn about us, but we don’t help the American farmers.”
Two years later, Trump was interviewed by Larry King at the 1988 Republican National Convention. Please look up this interview — it’s fabulous.
Two things will be of particular interest. First, watch how Trump keeps circling back to praise Dan Quayle. King doesn’t even ask him about Quayle — a figure of media ridicule at the time because of his Midwest conservatism. It’s Trump who keeps doggedly bringing up Quayle, in order to say, he’s a “very impressive guy” who did “a great job — I don’t mean a good job, I mean a great job.”
Ann Coulter signs "Adios America!"
for ARRA News Service editor.
Second, Trump expressly rejects King’s characterization of him as an “Eastern Republican,” or a “Rockefeller Republican,” saying the people he does best with are “the taxi drivers and the workers.”
Trump’s business is real estate, and real estate can’t be outsourced. His flag is planted in this country. If America goes down, his empire goes down.
Conservative pundits keep assuring clueless viewers that Trump is not a “real Republican.” They seem not to grasp that most viewers are saying, That’s fantastic! Thanks for reminding me. (I look forward to conservative talk show hosts 20 years hence billing themselves as “Trump Republicans.”)
Looking at what the party has become, I certainly hope he’s not a “real Republican.” I know he’s a real American. Those used to be the same thing.

by Ann Coulter: With the media frantically hiding the content of Donald Trump's terrorism speech from last week, he should respond to every question with the central point of that speech: How does this kind of immigration make our country better? How does it make the country safer?
Media: Show us your tax returns!
Trump: Show me how our immigration policies are good for the people who already live here.
Media: Tell us why you fired Corey Lewandowski!
Trump: Tell me how our immigration policies are making the country safer for the people who already live here.
Media: How are you going to match Hillary's corporate fundraising?
Trump: How are our immigration policies helping the people who already live here?
Sooner or later people will say, "That's a good question -- why is this necessary?"
When the Third World immigrants admitted under Sen. Teddy Kennedy's 1965 Immigration Act -- as well as their children -- commit mass murder, the government and media tell us it's a gun problem. Or it's "our" culture. Or it's "homophobia." Or we have to keep admitting millions of Muslims because otherwise the ones already here will REALLY hate us.
Isn't that extortion? We've already admitted millions of Muslim immigrants, but if we don't take in millions more, the ones we've admitted will go on killing sprees?
How did we get in the position where we're screwed if we're not in the good graces of the Muslim community? Maybe we should stop doing that.
As any competent health professional will tell you, prevention is always better than a cure. No one says, Go ahead and have sex with that syphilitic whore -- we've got a cure! You don't need to worry about a leaky roof -- we've got mops!
They know that's not a good argument, which is why the media refuse to tell you what Trump actually said in his terrorism speech.
Like defendants with a losing case being forced to cough up bits of discovery, it took the FBI a week to release a redacted transcript of the Orlando shooter's 911 call pledging allegiance to ISIS. Even then, the first version came from George Orwell's Ministry of Truth: "I pledge allegiance to (omitted), may God protect him (in Arabic), on behalf of (omitted)."
That was too much even for Speaker Paul "That's Not Who We Are" Ryan, prompting the FBI to produce the full version of at least one of Omar's calls. (It turns out, he wasn't pledging allegiance to Wayne LaPierre or Phyllis Schlafly.)
To hide the epidemic of immigrant mass murders, all the lists have to include massacres from a time when there weren't many immigrants here -- before Kennedy's Immigration Act had fully kicked in and overwhelmed our country with the Third World. Fox News ran a chart compiled by Mother Jones magazine that includes mass shootings from the 1980s. Why not the 1960s? Why not include Bonnie and Clyde?
Could we look at mass murders from the last decade?
Those include: [Editor Note: The following list is even much worse; the wounder and permanently injured & scared is not detailed.]
2009: Binghamton, New York, Vietnamese immigrant Jiverly Wong -- 13 dead;
2007: Virginia Tech, South Korean immigrant Seung-Hui Cho -- 32 dead.
In the same time period, about a half-dozen mass murders were committed by American white men in their own country, where -- despite Teddy Kennedy's best efforts -- they far outnumber Vietnamese, Pakistanis and Afghans.
All the American shooters were visible nut cases, who never should have been let out of a straight-jacket. Their psychotic episodes wouldn't even count as mass shootings if committed by immigrants.Pakistani Naveed Haq's 2006 mass shooting at the Seattle Jewish Federation, for example, isn't generally included on lists of terrorist attacks because, according to his parents, he had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was on lithium.
Why do we need this? How are our current immigration policies helping the people who already live here? How are they making our country better, stronger, safer?
The operation to remake our country began with lies and has been sustained with lies ever since. Teddy Kennedy swore up and down that his 1965 Immigration Act would preserve America's traditional "ethnic mix" and would not "inundate" our country with people from "deprived nations."
In fact, his law brought in the poorest of the poor, from the most dysfunctional cultures in the world, and effected the most dramatic demographic transformation of any nation in all of human history.
But today, you're Hitler if you support Teddy Kennedy's original claims about his own bill.

by Ann Coulter: Donald Trump's latest bombshell, claiming the Bush administration lied about weapons of mass destruction to get us into the Iraq War, is just him doing wheelies on the way to the nomination. He's apparently decided it would be fun to taunt the entire GOP by demonstrating that he can say anything and his voters won't care.
I wish he'd stop showing off, the little scamp, but maybe the GOP establishment will finally get the message that voters have been waiting a really long time for a candidate who would put Americans first. Not donors, not plutocrats, not foreigners, and certainly not foreign plutocrats (i.e., Fox News).
Trump is the first presidential candidate in 50 years who might conceivably: (1) deport illegal aliens, (2) build a wall, (3) block Muslim immigration, (4) flout political correctness, (5) bring manufacturing home, and (6) end the GOP's neurotic compulsion to start wars in some godforsaken part of the world.
That's all that matters! Are you listening yet, RNC?
There is not another candidate who agrees with Trump on all these positions. Maybe one issue, but not all of them -- and if it's immigration, they would be lying.
Even Ted Cruz still refuses to say he'd deport illegal aliens (unless they're arrested for breaking some other law), build a wall (instead he talks about "border security," which is code for: No Wall), or reduce legal immigration at all.
Trump is like a greatest-hits album. The two political parties are the record companies, refusing to put all the hits on one album and instead forcing us to choose between Republicans who will depress wages through immigration and bad trade deals, or Democrats who pretend to care about working-class Americans while sacralizing abortion and gay marriage.
Trump is right about President Bush not keeping us safe -- though not about his "Bush lied" argument that makes me want to strangle him. This is what Trump said last October on "Coyote News Sunday" (FNC) about how things would have been different on 9/11 under President Trump:
"Well, I would have been much different, I must tell you. ... I am extremely, extremely tough on illegal immigration. I'm extremely tough on people coming into this country. I believe that if I were running things, I doubt ... that those people would have been in the country."
And that was before Trump announced his plan for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration! (By contrast, as governor of Florida, Jeb! aggressively pushed a bill to allow illegal aliens to get driver's licenses, less than three years AFTER 13 of 19 hijackers used Florida driver's licenses to board the planes on 9/11.)
It is apparently considered less controversial to send a million troops to the Middle East than to stop printing visas for would-be terrorists.
It's not just George W. Bush's open-borders policy that cries out for re-examination. During a debate with Al Gore one year before the 9/11 attack -- committed by Arabs on U.S. commercial airlines -- he pre-emptively denounced the racial profiling of Arabs by airport security.
The Wall Street Journal proclaimed that "the 'racial profiling' issue might help Bush win Michigan." (Good call, WSJ! Bush lost Michigan, anyway.)
In June 2001 -- three months before the attack committed by Arabs on U.S. commercial airlines -- the Bush administration undertook a study to ensure that Arabs were not being disproportionately stopped by airport security.
When U.S. Airways ticket agent Michael Tuohey laid eyes on Mohamed Atta on the morning of 9/11, he got a "chill" and thought to himself, "If this guy doesn't look like an Arab terrorist, then nothing does." But then, he says, he gave himself a politically correct "slap," and handed Atta his ticket.
Atta proceeded to murder 3,000 Americans. But at least no undue scrutiny of Arabs was taking place at U.S. Airports!
The Marco Rubios, Nikki Haleys, Paul Ryans, Jeb!, Zeppo and Shemp Bushes of the GOP say: "Vote for me -- we may have a terrorist attack, but at least we'll know we did the right thing!" Trump says: "I'm going to protect you."
That's why it doesn't matter when Trump pops off and says things that are not conservative orthodoxy -- or even true!
Even if you think Trump is a libertine, shallow narcissist, you know he will do what no other Republican will: Go to Washington, kick ass, mock political correctness, build a wall, deport illegals, bring manufacturing home, and end the GOP's peculiar fixation with remaking the Muslim world.
This is our last chance. It's similar to the "point of no return" global warming alarmists keep talking about, except our data isn't fake.
At our current rate of immigration/transformation, if we don't break the donor fever grip now, we never will. This kind of correction isn't just a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it's a once-in-a-millennium opportunity.
The GOP didn't hear us with Eric Cantor, with the 2014 election or with John Boehner. After all that, they still gave us Nikki Haley and Paul Ryan. President Trump is the last and only message they will understand.
