Ten Years After Fort Hood Massacre

. . . For Obama, it was “workplace violence.”
by Lloyd Billingsley: On November 5, 2009, at Fort Hood, Texas, Major Nidal Hasan, a self-proclaimed “soldier of Allah,” gunned down 13 unarmed American soldiers, including Pvt. Francheska Velez, who was pregnant. Yelling the familiar “Allahu akbar,” Hasan chased down the wounded and shot them in the back. The major would have killed many more if police officer Kim Munley had not fired on the shooter. For the more than 30 the Muslim major wounded, the troubles were only beginning.

The 11/5 Fort Hood massacre was the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil since 9/11.

For the president of the United States formerly known as Barry Soetoro, it was only “workplace violence,” not even “gun violence.” That prevented the survivors from getting the medals and medical treatment they deserved. For his part, Major Hasan never should have been in a position to attack them.

As Robert Spencer notes, Maj. Hasan told colleagues infidels should have their throats cut, heads chopped off, and boiling oil poured down their throat. He told students Islamic law trumped the U.S. Constitution and suicide bombings were justified. Hasan’s jihadist tilt was well known but his Army superiors “kept promoting him” even as the FBI tracked his terrorist contacts.

As a 2012 congressional hearing revealed, Hasan openly communicated with Muslim cleric and terrorist mastermind Anwar al-Awlaki. In one email, Hasan told al-Awlaki, “Please keep me in your Rolodex in case you find me useful, and please feel free to call me collect.” Even so, under FBI boss Robert Mueller “the case was dropped until November 5, when the media began circulating reports of the massacre” and at that time the FBI agents “knew exactly who the perpetrator was.”

These revelations emerged in September, 2012, at the height of the presidential election, but Republican candidate Mitt Romney failed to cite them as ways the incumbent had transformed America into a more dangerous place. POTUS 44 refused to link Islam with terrorism and his FBI bleached manuals of any such connection. Willful ignorance of Islamic terrorists was already a reality by the 2009 11/5 attack.

In a proclamation honoring the victims, the president referred only to “the tragic events at Fort Hood,” and in his eulogy at the base days later, POTUS 44 failed to use the word “terrorist.” In March of 2010, the president urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood “terrible tragedy” and referred to “the alleged gunman.” Four years later, the Muslim’s motive was still in doubt.

On April 9, 2014, the president appeared at a memorial service for the Fort Hood victims. “Once more, soldiers who survived foreign warzones were struck down here at home, where they’re supposed to be safe,” the president said. “We still do not yet know exactly why, but we do know this: We must honor their lives, not in word or talk, but in deed and in truth.” The president did not use the word terrorism or terrorist but said, “as a nation, we can do more to help counsel those with mental health issues, to keep firearms out of the hands of those who are having such deep difficulties.”

Days later, the White House declined a request from Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford, who took seven bullets from Hasan, to explain how the government has mistreated the victims. “As you may know, the president and high-ranking members of the military promised me, my family and the other Fort Hood terror attack survivors that the federal government would 'make them whole.' After more than four and one-half years, however, the government has yet to make good on this promise,” Lunsford wrote.

The African American wanted only ten minutes, but the White House denied the victim’s request. Attorney Reed Rubinstein, who represented Lunsford and other Fort Hood survivors, told reporters, “The idea that the Fort Hood shooting was workplace violence is a lie. They know it’s a lie. Everyone knows it’s a lie.” More lies and evasions were yet to come.

In the Chattanooga terrorist attack on July 16, 2015, Kuwaiti-born Muhammad Abdulazeez shot and killed four Marines at a Navy operations support center, and a fifth sailor later died of his wounds. Again the president failed to use the word “terrorism” even though vice president Joe Biden tagged the killer a “perverted jihadist.”

In December, 2015, after Muslims Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik gunned down 14 innocents in San Bernardino, the president said “terrorists turn to less complicated acts of violence” and it was “this type of attack that we saw at Fort Hood in 2009, in Chattanooga earlier this year and now in San Bernardino.” The president still could not bring himself to name Nidal Hasan nor acknowledge his deadly attack as Islamic terrorism.

Major Nidal Hasan was sentenced to death in 2013 but the sentence was never carried out. The convicted mass murderer has expressed support for the Islamic State.

Ten years after 11/5, President Trump has good reason to bring the Fort Hood survivors to the White House and let them speak their minds. If they call for President Trump to carry out Hasan’s execution it would be hard to blame them, but this is hardly the only unfinished business on Ford Hood.

Who were the FBI agents who monitored Hasan’s emails to al-Awlaki? Who gave the order to drop the case? Are any of these agents till on the job, and what are they doing now? Were any whistleblowers ignored or punished? What did the president know, and when did he know it?

President Trump needs to get all that, and more, out of the dark and into the light. The people have a right to know, and as Democrats say, nobody is above the law.

From El Paso To Fort Hood

. . . When the FBI failed to prevent a mass murder they knew was coming.
Terrorist - Major (Dr.) Nidal Husan
Murdered 13 (and 1 unborn child);
 Wounded 30
by Lloyd Billingsley: Last weekend, Patrick Crusius shot down 22 victims in El Paso, Texas. Ten years earlier in Fort Hood, Texas, some 500 miles to the east, U.S. Army major Nidal Hasan was planning a deadly attack, similar in some ways but decidedly different in response from the media and political establishments. Unlike the El Paso shooter, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, then headed by Robert Mueller, was on to Hasan from the start.

On May 31, 2009, the Muslim army psychiatrist, a self-described “soldier of Allah,” contacted terrorist mastermind Anwar al-Awliki, probing whether it was okay to kill American soldiers by suicide bombings and such in order to help fellow Muslim combatants. “This logic seems to make sense to me,” Hasan replied. These and other emails between the two were in the hands of the FBI at that time.

In June of 2009, the FBI’s Washington field office responded “WFO does not currently assess Hasan to be involved in terrorist activities.” The FBI promptly dropped the case until November 5, when field agents said: “You know who that is. That’s our boy.”

As it emerged in the 2012 congressional hearings on Lessons from Fort Hood: Improving our Ability to Connect the Dots, their boy Nidal Hasan, “walked into the Soldier Readiness Center at Fort Hood, Texas, and shouted the classic jihadist term ‘Allahu Akbar’ and opened fire on unarmed soldiers and civilians. He killed 13 and wounded 42 others. This was the most horrific terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11.” That was accurate, but did not capture the details.

Using privately purchased handguns, Major Hasan chased down wounded soldiers and shot them in the back. He gunned down Pvt. Francheska Velez, pregnant with her first child. He would have killed more unarmed American soldiers if civilian police officer Kim Munley had not wounded Hasan after taking three bullets from the shooter. His victims included Hispanics and African Americans but the commander in chief of U.S. armed forces did not call Hasan a racist or the attack a hate crime.

President Barack Obama, the Democrat formerly known as Barry Soetoro, did not call Nidal Hassan’s mass murder an act of terrorism or even gun violence. He called it “workplace violence,” which did more than downplay the Islamic terrorism on display in the mass murder. Since it was “workplace” and not combat, it also prevented the victims from getting medals and the medical treatment they deserved. The president also declined to receive victims at the White House and field their complaints.

One of the victims, Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford, noted that Hasan got better medical treatment than he did, while the shooter continued to draw his pay. At the time, it did not emerge that the FBI had dropped the ball on Hasan and did nothing to stop him. The policies of POTUS 44, who refused to link Islam and terrorism, had enabled Hasan to complete his deadly mission.

As the 2012 hearings revealed, during his medical residency Hasan demonstrated “evidence of violent extremism,” sympathy for radical Islam, and even wrote papers defending Osama bin Laden. “Yet no action was taken. Instead, Major Hasan was rewarded for his work and promoted.” In reality, “Hasan was barely a competent psychiatrist, whose radical views alarmed his colleagues.”

So the Army and FBI looked the other way when the terrorist committed mass murder at Fort Hood, Texas. Those who find this disturbing might jump ahead to 2019 in El Paso, Texas.

Imagine if, under President Trump, the FBI had full knowledge of Patrick Crusius’ plans to gun down innocents, yet did nothing to stop him from killing 22 people. Imagine if President Trump declined to call this an example of evil, mass murder, a hate crime, or even gun violence, and instead said it was “workplace violence” or some equivalent.

Imagine the outcry if President Trump had made such an absurd designation to prevent victims from getting the medical treatment they needed, and declined to meet with the wounded. And consider the response if President Trump took no action against those who knew of Crusius’ plans yet did not thing to stop him.

By all indications, the FBI bosses who failed to take action against Nidal Hasan have never been named. It remains uncertain if any action was taken against them, and whether any still work for the FBI in any capacity. The dynamic was different in those days.

The political and media establishments blamed President Obama for nothing. They now blame President Trump for everything, including the attacks in El Paso and Dayton. Like the “workplace violence” designation, this is fathomless absurdity for the ages.

Authorities in El Paso plan to seek the death penalty for Patrick Cruisius, and in Texas, death sentences tend to be carried out. By contrast, Nidal Hasan was sentenced to death in 2013. He remains an unrepentant soldier of Allah and in prison expressed a desire to join ISIS.

November 5 will mark ten years since this terrorist murdered 13 Americans. As President Trump likes to say, we’ll see what happens.

The 14th Victim at Fort Hood

By Ken Blackwell, Contributing Author: I have written recently of President Obama's "covert zeal" for the spread of abortion. I took that phrase from Abraham Lincoln's description of how President Franklin Pierce and Sen. Stephen A. Douglas sought--covertly--to spread slavery in the 1850s. In that column, I noted specific actions of this president to advance abortion-on-demand and to force us all to pay for it.

Now, I want to focus on something Mr. Obama is not doing. He is not charging Nidal Hasan, the accused Fort Hood killer, with violation of the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (UVVA). This law was passed and signed in 2004. After the highly publicized conviction of Scott Peterson in California for the murder of his wife and her unborn child, the law was named the Laci and Conner Peterson Unborn Victims of Violence Act.

There would seem to be no possibility of controversy in charging Hasan with violating UVVA. After all, it is indisputable that one of those killed was pregnant at the time of her death. Nor did the mother, Army Private Francheska Velez, contemplate an abortion. There would be no question of her exercising "choice" in this matter. In fact, her last words, most poignantly reported, were: "My baby! my baby!"

It was for just such heinous crimes that the UVVA was passed. It covers only those instances where a crime of violence is committed on federal property, or where other crimes covered by the federal code are being committed. This is how Wikipedia describes UVVA.

The Unborn Victims of Violence Act of 2004 (Public Law 108-212) is a United States law which recognizes a "child in utero" as a legal victim, if he or she is injured or killed during the commission of any of over 60 listed federal crimes of violence. The law defines "child in utero" as "a member of the species Homo sapiens, at any stage of development, who is carried in the womb".

The law is codified in two sections of the United States Code: Title 18, Chapter 1 (Crimes), §1841 (18 USC 1841) and Title 10, Chapter 22 (Uniform Code of Military Justice) §919a (Article 119a).

So, it is a law incorporated into the U.S. Code and most significantly in this case, it is applied to the military by including it in the UCMJ. Hasan was assigned to Fort Hood. So were all those who died. There could be no question of UVVA not applying in this case.

Apart from his "covert zeal" for abortion, what could explain President Obama's failure to apply this law in this case? He obviously has a problem with the law "recogniz[ing] the child in utero." But the law can in no way conflict with the Supreme Court's abortion rulings. This young mother chose life--for herself and her unborn child. The law does no more than recognize what we all know to be true. Even Joe Klein, that veritable liberal, acknowledges in his TIME Magazine column that "that thing in the womb is a human being." But President Obama does not want to recognize that simple truth.

The failure to charge Nidal Hasan with violation of the Unborn Victims of Violence Act is another instance of this president's failure to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed." Americans are becoming increasingly pro-life. It is high time that the laws that protect unborn victims of violence be duly enforced.

Why is the Obama Administration stifling the Hasan / Fort Hood Investigation?

WORLDNETDAILY -  A member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence is wondering why President Obama apparently is suppressing information assembled by an investigation into the Nov. 5 attack at Fort Hood by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist who reportedly shouted "Allahu akbar," or "Allah is greatest," while killing more than a dozen soldiers and civilians.

Rep. Pete Hoekstra, R-MI, expressed his concern in a recent commentary, saying, "There has been a troubling refusal by Obama officials to acknowledge that the shooting likely was an act of homegrown terrorism."  "How can it be that the House Committee on Homeland Security has launched an investigation and called hearings within a week to look into the couple who crashed a recent White House state dinner, yet a month after Fort Hood there has yet to be a single congressional hearing into the Fort Hood attack?" Hoekstra said. "I fear that our nation is returning to the naive security outlook of Sept. 10, 2001, when radical Islamic terrorist attacks were considered law enforcement and criminal problems and not threats to our national security."

Hasan, a Muslim of Palestinian descent, allegedly entered the Soldier Readiness Center at Fort Hood about 1:30 p.m. Nov. 5 and, according to witnesses, took a seat at a table, bowed his head for a few seconds, then stood up and started shooting. . . .

But Jamal Ware, a spokesman for the GOP members of the intelligence committee, told WND that the problem is while the investigation apparently has produced a report about Hasan, it's being suppressed by the White House. Hoekstra "had issued a call for the intelligence community to preserve all records relevant to looking at what happened at Fort Hood," . . . The serious national security implications of the Fort Hood shooting concern both a possible homegrown terrorist attack and a likely failure of U.S. intelligence agencies to cooperate, yet Congress has done nothing to investigate and the Obama administration has stonewalled requests by individual members of Congress for information," Hoekstra explained."The Obama administration seems to forget that it is a requirement, not an option, for the executive branch to keep Congress fully and currently informed. Instead of a healthy discussion with Congress on why this horrible event occurred, we have something akin to pulling teeth to get even basic information. This is wrong and it makes me wonder what Congress will find when the layers are pulled back,.. (Full Story)

Arrest Made in Texas Triple Homicide that Included a Fort Hood Soldier and an Army Veteran

Barnard Lnell Morrow
by Rose L. Thayer: A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with murder in a triple homicide in Killeen that left an Army veteran, a Fort Hood soldier and his pregnant girlfriend dead, local police said Friday.

Barnard Lnell Morrow was arrested at about 6 a.m. Friday in Newton, Miss., by officers with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force without incident, according to the Killeen Police Department. Morrow was charged with capital murder of multiple persons for the March 14 shooting that killed Army Spc. Freddy Delacruz, 23, Army veteran Shaquan Allred, 23, and Asia Cline, 20.

"The department wishes to express its condolences to the family and friends of the victims of this tragedy," Killeen Police Chief Charles Kimble said in a statement. Killeen has nearly 150,000 residents and is located just outside the gates of Fort Hood in central Texas.

Delacruz of Vidalia, Ga., entered the Army in November 2017 as a cavalry scout and was assigned to Fort Hood's 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division since April 2018, according to a news release from Fort Hood following his death.

Allred served as a combat engineer from November 2017 until January, when he left the Army as a private, according to his official service record.

Latrece Johnson, Delacruz's mother, said she felt happy, sad, angry and relieved when police called her with news of the arrest. She and her husband, who live in Vidalia, were driving when the detective called. They had to stop the car.

"We couldn't drive for at least 30 minutes. We cried and shouted," Johnson said. "I'm satisfied at this point right now, but I don't know the outcome of anything."

She said she plans to follow the case closely because she still doesn't know why her son was killed.

Killeen police were called to the Summerlyn Apartments at 4101 E. Rancier Ave. at about 1:05 a.m. for reports of shots fired, according to Morrow's arrest affidavit. But police found no evidence of shooting. About 12 minutes later, the Killeen Fire Department responded to a call about a water leak at the complex and police returned with them.

An officer discovered the door to apartment 1711 unlocked and found Allred sitting dead on the couch with a video game controller in his lap. Cline was found in the bathroom and Delacruz in a bedroom. All three had been shot multiple times and were pronounced dead at the scene. A bullet had struck a water pipe, causing the leak, according to the affidavit.

In total, 17 9mm bullet casings were found in the apartment, according to the affidavit. On March 20, police pulled over a vehicle in which Morrow was riding in the backseat and not wearing a seatbelt, which is illegal in Texas. A search of the vehicle uncovered the gun and police detained him. Police linked the gun to the shooting.

During initial questioning about the gun, Morrow said he had stolen the backpack and gun from a park three days prior and, therefore, wasn't in possession of it during the shooting, according to the affidavit. But police said they interviewed a soldier who said Morrow had purchased the gun him in July or August 2019. Video pulled from Morrow's cell phone showed him with the gun as early as November.

A Bell County grand jury approved the charges against Morrow on Aug. 20 and a justice of the peace recommended bond be set at $2 million. After Morrow's arrest Friday, he was transported to the Lauderdale County Jail and was awaiting extradition back to Bell County, according to Killeen police.

'Gravely Disappointed:' 14 Fort Hood Leaders Fired, Suspended in Wake of Vanessa Guillen Murder

Family, friends & supporters of murdered U.S. Army Private
First Class Vanessa Guillen rally on the National Mall to
call for justice and for Congress to investigate her death
by Matthew Cox: In one of the most sweeping responses to command climate problems in recent memory, Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy announced today that he has relieved or suspended 14 leaders at Fort Hood, Texas, in the aftermath of Spc. Vanessa Guillen's disappearance and murder earlier this year.

Maj. Gen. Scott L. Efflandt, deputy commanding general for Support at III Corps, Col. Ralph Overland and Command Sgt. Maj. Bradley Knapp, the 3rd Cavalry Regiment commander and command sergeant major, have been relieved of command, according to a separate Army statement. All were among the leaders identified in an independent review launched after Guillen's death and made public today.

The review included nine findings and 70 recommendations addressing major flaws in the Army's Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention (SHARP) program at Hood, as well as a "command climate at Fort Hood that that was permissive of sexual harassment and sexual assault," McCarthy told defense reporters at the Pentagon.

"I have determined the issues at Fort Hood are directly related to leadership failures," McCarthy said. "Leaders drive culture and are responsible for everything the unit does or does not happen to do.

"I am gravely disappointed that leaders failed to create a climate that treated all soldiers with dignity and respect."

Following Guillen's murder, which family members have said came after she was sexually harassed at her workplace, Army leaders have had to appear before Congress multiple times to answer for the tragedy. Many have expressed outrage, and some Army recruiters in Texas have reported encountering hostility and anger from those who've heard Guillen's story.

Jihad at Fort Hood - Part II

by Gary Bauer, Campaign for Working Families: The evidence is now overwhelming that the Fort Hood murderer, Nidal Malik Hasan, is an Islamist who was trying to please Allah when he gunned down our American heroes. ABC News reported this morning that the CIA has evidence that he had tried to contact Al Qaeda in recent months. For normal Americans the news that he shouted “Allahu Akbar,” the battle cry of jihadists, as he poured bullets into our sons and daughters was all we needed to know.

But that information wasn’t good enough for Dr. Phil, Larry King, major media outlets such as Newsweek, the president and, sadly, even our military elites. Many of them jumped to the conclusion that this was another example of a soldier “breaking” from battle stress. It didn’t seem puzzling to them that he had never been in combat! In fact, all of our elites wanted to lecture the rest of us and warn us that we’d better not jump to conclusions.

Now we know that for years Hasan was quite open about his Islamist views. In fact, HE HARRASSED his fellow soldiers – not the other way around, as has been suggested. Complaints about Hasan’s anti-American rantings were ignored. Some military people say they didn’t file complaints because they were afraid that doing so would hurt their careers in the increasingly “politically correct” Army bureaucracy.

Hasan made presentations that justified suicide bombings, and argued that the wars we have been fighting since 9/11 are really wars against Islam. He tried to convert his military patients to Islam and was put on probation. He attended a mosque in Northern Virginia that two 9/11 hijackers also attended. The list goes on and on.

As an obvious Islamist, Hasan did the predictable – he killed as many of us as he could. His actions should be no more mysterious than those of the hijackers who killed 3,000 of us on 9/11 or the Palestinian family who celebrates when they receive news that their teenage child has blown himself up while killing Jews.

What is harder to fathom is why so many elites are more interested in spreading politically correct lies than in confronting the strong likelihood that our jihadist enemy has infiltrated key American institutions. More of our soldiers will die, as will more of us, if the media and our government leaders don’t wake up. Nidal Hasan should not have been in the Army – he should have been in jail. He should not have been assigned to counseling returning American warriors. He should not have been promoted.

On Meet The Press Sunday, Army Chief of Staff General George Casey continued to urge people not to jump to conclusions about the overwhelming evidence in this case. He expressed deep concern about a possible backlash against Muslim members of our Armed Forces. He actually said this: “As horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse.” Does he really believe that? I think that 13 American families would argue that we could have had one person less of “diversity” at Fort Hood in exchange for 13 live American heroes.

And what about the White House? Since long before this attack, this president has refused to use the phrase “Islamic terrorism,” and has banned its use by others in the government. He began his administration by attempting to close the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where Hasan’s jihadist brothers are imprisoned. Day by day, America becomes less safe under his leadership.

Jihad at Fort Hood - Part III

by Gary Bauer, Campaign for Working Families: We now know that Fort Hood murderer Nidal Malik Hasan sent between 10 and 20 messages to Anwar al-Awlaki, an Islamofascist cleric known for his exhortations for Muslims to rise up and kill the infidels. Counterterrorism officials intercepted the communications but concluded (are you sitting down?) that the e-mails were probably part of a research project on post-traumatic stress disorder that the psychiatrist had been conducting at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Really? Anwar al-Awlaki is an expert on jihadist exhortation and incitement. He can wax eloquent about how to cut the throat of the non-believer and what an appropriate ritual beheading requires. He is not in any normal world a resource for research into post-traumatic stress. No matter how “innocent” the e-mails seemed to our “intelligence” community, alarm bells should have gone off when an Army major sent messages to a murderous thug. Even a cursory examination would have turned up other information on Hasan’s rants, his increasing anti-Americanism and the evidence he was becoming a Muslim warrior.

After the Fort Hood rampage, al-Awlaki praised Nidal Hasan on his web page. He wrote, “Nidal Hassan is a hero. He is a man of conscience who could not bear living the contradiction of being a Muslim and serving in an army that is fighting against his own people. This is a contradiction that many Muslims brush aside and just pretend that it doesn’t exist. Any decent Muslim cannot live, understanding properly his duties towards his Creator and his fellow Muslims, and yet serve as a U.S. soldier.”

Here’s a thought: Perhaps our homeland security people are so traumatized by the constant leftwing attack accusing them of violating constitutional rights that they have been rendered ineffective. CIA officers have been threatened with prosecutions, and phone companies may be sued out of business for cooperating with the Bush Administration on wiretaps in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Some of our counterterrorism officials may be so worried about ending up in jail if they are too aggressive that they have become paralyzed by political correctness.

by Carter Clews, ALG News Editor - Time to Jump to Some Conclusions: Thirteen brave soldiers are dead today because the United States Army decided to put the tender sensibilities of radical Muslims above the personal safety of the American people. An overstatement? Not hardly. And to make matters worse, it is now clear that under Commander in Chief Barack Hussein Obama, the Army intends to continue this lunacy – no matter how many innocent lives are lost. And no matter how thoroughly it devastates our army's ability to combat terrorism both abroad, and at home.

Lest there be any doubt about the Obama policies, consider his admonition immediately following Nidal Malik Hasan's terrorist attack on U.S. soldiers at Fort Hood. No sooner had Hasan finished mowing down the unarmed "infidels" … no sooner had the assassin's screams of "Allah Akbar" faded from his lips … than Barack Obama warned the American people "don't jump to conclusions." Now, lest anyone think that by this, Obama meant not to jump to the conclusion that Hasan was the shooter, such, unfortunately, is not the case. Said the President shortly after the massacre, "This past Thursday, on a clear Texas afternoon, an Army psychiatrist walked into the Soldier Readiness Processing Center, and began shooting his fellow soldiers."

No, what this President meant is clear to any who listened as he soft-peddled radical Islam throughout his presidential campaign. His words are clear to any who heard his speech to the Egyptian parliament apologizing for America's intolerance. They are clear to all who know that his first call to a foreign leader was to Palestinian strongman Mahmoud Abbas They are clear to those who recall that his first formal interview was to Al Arabiya, when he condemned, not Islamic terrorism, but Israeli settlements.

And they are abundantly clear to any who remember Obama's own words from page 261 of his self-adulating autobiography Audacity of Hope. Apologizing for what he considers the horror Muslims have suffered at the hands of everyday Americans, he writes: "They [the Muslims] have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Little wonder, then that Obama has, at best, consented with his silence as his Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, and his top military commanders clear Nidal Malik Hasan of any radical Islamic motives. And even less wonder that he has allowed his Army Chief of Staff, Gen. George Casey, to take such patent idiocy a far step further. Indeed, asked by ABC's George Stephanopolous if the Amy had "dropped the ball" by not recognizing any of a hundred and one different warning signs that Hasan had become a dangerous radical, Casey recited the Obama Administration's official mantra. We shouldn't "jump to conclusions," he intoned, based on "early tidbits."

And what were those "early tidbits?" In 2001, Hasan attended the notorious Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia, where he listened in rapt attention as the fiery, anti-American imam Anwar Al-Awlaki encouraged his followers to attack the infidels. Not so coincidentally, among Hasan's fellow attendees at the Center were two of the September 11 terrorists.

During his time at Walter Reed Hospital and the Uniformed Services University, Hasan, according to the New York Times, became increasingly hostile towards the War on Terror and Americans who defended it. Wrote the Times: "A former classmate in the master's degree program said Major Hasan gave a PowerPoint presentation about a year ago in an environmental health seminar titled "Why the War on Terror Is a War on Islam." He did not socialize with his classmates, other than to argue in the hallways on why the wars were wrong … [S]ome students complained to their professors about Major Hasan."

Even more recently, according to an ABC News Online article, intelligence sources had a level of knowledge that Hasan was in communication with al Qaeda assets abroad. And according to the highly reliable web site, the Northeast Intelligence Network, "this and information similar but not directly related to such communications became a 'political issue' between government agencies and officials 'at the policy making levels' of the administration."

So, in view of all this – and the 13 martyred soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas -- are the Obama Administration and the U.S. Army, at last, ready to start heeding reports of radical activity among Muslim soldiers – before more shots are fired and additional lives are lost?

Not a chance. Here is the Obama Administration's official response, as enunciated by Gen. Casey on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday morning: "As horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that's worse." That, of course, is sheer idiocy. And it is time for Barack Hussein Obama to step to the fore and declare once and for all – honestly and openly – whether he still intends to "stand with" the radical Muslims even to the extent of protecting "diversity" over American lives. If not, we have every right to "jump" to our own conclusions.

No Guns Allowed - Gun Free Zones

No guns allowed even if they’re legally owned, seems to be the prevailing hot spot for murderous rampages, Fort Hood being one example.
Editorial Cartoon by AF "Tony" Branco

Gun Owners of America - The tragic shooting at Ft. Hood raises the question once again: How many more lives must perish before Congress repeals the ban on service members carrying guns?

We now know that Ivan Lopez, an Iraq War veteran, brought a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun onto Ft. Hood yesterday and killed three other people, before killing himself.

Fox News reports that the rampage ended when a female MP drew her weapon, causing Lopez to take his own life.

It was previous base shootings like this one that prompted Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) to introduce H.R. 3199 last year, a bill to repeal the ban on carrying firearms on military bases.

Rep. Stockman blasted the glaring double-standard that keeps our servicemen disarmed.

“Why are civilians at a restaurant allowed to defend themselves but soldiers trained in firearms aren’t?” Stockman asked. “Why can’t we extend common sense gun laws like open carry to our soldiers?”

Ret. Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford -- who survived the 2009 Ft. Hood shooting, despite being shot 7 times by Nidal Hasan -- shocked an MSNBC host today when he said “I think more guns” is the answer.

“Had it been where other service members [had] guns or weapons on them at that time,” Sgt. Lunsford said, “I don’t think [Lopez] would have reacted the way that he was reacting.”

It is imperative that gun owners urge their Representatives to cosponsor H.R. 3199. Every time we repeal another gun-free zone, we take away another killing zone that the Left can use to clamor for gun control.

To be sure, the political Left has spent the entire day trying to exploit this tragedy in hopes of resurrecting calls for gun control.

Should we ban those on anxiety meds? How about servicemen with PTSD? What about just anyone who is seeking psychiatric counseling?

These are the questions that MSNBC hosts have raised today. But over and over again, even their own liberal guests continue to shoot down the idea that society can accurately predict which non-violent individuals are likely to commit violence in the future:

* Former FBI agent and criminal profiler, Clint Van Zandt: “There is no real litmus test for who’s going to commit violence.”

* NBC reporter Jim Miklaszewski: “[Psychologists] saw no sign of likely violence or suicidal tendencies from [Ivan] Lopez.”

* Dr. Devi Nampiaparampil, a NYU professor: “PTSD by itself, it doesn’t make people violent.”

So even though gun grabbers are trying to use tragedies like this to expand gun laws -- making them even more draconian -- the dirty little secret among the “intelligencia” is that background checks are doomed to fail:

* Remember Adam Lanza at Newtown, Connecticut? He stole his firearms from his mother, whom he murdered.

* Or how about the Clackamas Mall shooter? He stole his AR-15, just as Lanza (one week later) would steal his firearms.

* Then there was the James Holmes at the Aurora theater in Colorado. He passed two background checks.

* Or how about Jared Loughner in Tucson, Arizona? He passed a background check.

No wonder that America’s police officers, by a 2-to-1 margin, support concealed carry as the answer to large scale shootings -- as compared to expanding mental health checks for gun buyers. (On Page 6 of report)

“Saving lives by allowing trained soldiers to carry firearms should be an easy fix,” said Rep. Stockman. “No reasonable person can oppose that.”

ACTION: Urge your Representative to cosponsor H.R. 3199, the Safe Military Bases Act; and thank those who already have done so.

Letter to Editor: Fort Hood "Workplace Violence"

Major (Dr.) Nidal Husan
Murdered 13 (and 1 unborn child); Wounded 30
Letter to the Editor - by Norm Beznoska Jr, Strongsville, OH : Remember November 5, 2009, when Major Nidal Hasan murdered 13 brave American soldiers, one who was pregnant, and wounded another thirty at Fort Hood,Texas, while screaming "Allahu Akbar"? According to President Obama and his hireling, Eric "The Contemptible" Holder, it wasn't an "act of terrorism", but "workplace violence". Workplace violence? When an avowed Islamic fanatic and coward shoots 43 Americans down in cold blood?

To add insult to injury, Obama told the victims families, he would VETO any bill passed by the Republicans to grant Purple Hearts and combat benefits to these American soldiers who died, or were wounded defending their country at home at the hands of a Muslim madman.

I pray Governor Romney asks Obama "why" in their next debate he, Obama, and the Department of Defense, have no problem paying the murderer, Major Hasan, $6,000 in military pay per month, AND an annual bonus of $15,000, but refuses to sign a Republican bill authorizing combat benefits and Purple Hearts to our own American soldiers, victims of another Islamic Act of Terror. As despicable as this act of cowardice was, Obama's and the Defense Department's classification of it as "workplace violence" is even MORE DESPICABLE!

Jihad at Fort Hood - Part IV (14 Murdered) & Jihadists in the Military

William Warren, Political Cartoonist - Politically Correct Media Blinders at Ft Hoodby Gary Bauer, Campaign for Working Families: The “Crazy” Hasan - ABC and several other news outlets are reporting that Major Nidal Hasan, the Ft. Hood killer, had contacts with numerous Muslim extremists and had visited jihadist “chat rooms” on the Internet. Anonymous FBI officials predict the details of his other suspicious activities will become public soon. I hope so. But there are a lot of important people, from the president to media mavens, who are obviously committed to convincing us that we shouldn’t believe our own eyes and ears.

First they suggested that Hasan was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Obama was pushing that idea earlier this week when he suggested that sometimes soldiers just “crack.” And it was the first and most popular speculation by reporters right after they told us not to jump to conclusions. But the PTSD explanation itself began to crack when it became apparent that Major Hasan had never been in combat and had never formally asked to leave the Army.

Now the “jihadist deniers” are suggesting Hasan was just plain crazy – paranoid, delusional, and a psychotic. His acts didn’t have anything to do with Islam, they argue. Rather, he had a chemical imbalance leading to some brain cells misfiring.

Under this theory, the Palestinian mother who encourages her children to become suicide bombers to kill Jews just needs some counseling. The jihadists who throw acid in the faces of little Afghan girls because they want to go to school could be helped with a prescription of Prozac. The American Muslims arrested in recent months in plots to attack Ft. Dix, Quantico, and other U.S. military bases could get counseling under universal health care. Perhaps President Obama should send 40,000 psychiatrists to Afghanistan instead of soldiers.

Islamofascism is by definition crazy, certainly by our standards. How else can one explain radical Muslims who hail the 9/11 hijackers as heroes, while at the same time arguing that the Jews or the CIA or both attacked America that day to provoke us to attack Muslim countries?  Islamofascists are molded, directed and inspired by what the jihadists have concluded their faith requires of them. There are plenty of imams, Islamic “scholars,” Islamic schools, web sites, books, movies and mosques encouraging them to be “soldiers for Allah.”

If our leaders – after all the beheadings, homicide bombings, honor killings and other atrocities – still don’t get it, then I think the evidence is clear that they – not “crazy” Hasan – are the ones who are delusional.

Why Not 14? The Army officially charged Major Hasan today with 13 counts of premeditated murder. Why not 14 counts? One of Hasan’s victims, 21 year-old Francheska Velez of Chicago, was nine weeks into her pregnancy. Hasan should be charged with the murder of her unborn baby and could be charged under the Unborn Victims of Violence Act, otherwise known as Laci and Conner’s Law.

The Unborn Victims of Violence Act was signed into law by President Bush in 2004. It acknowledges the obvious: In a violent crime against a pregnant woman there are two victims – the mother and the baby. Today, our staff double-checked the law, and it covers the Uniform Code of Military Justice. In fairness, officials announcing the charges today made it clear that additional charges were possible, and the Associated Press reports that a 14th murder charge for Private Velez’ baby is under consideration.

by Kerby Anderson, Point of View: Jihadists in the Military - This week many broadcasters have tried to understand the shooting that took place last week at Fort Hood. But callers and guests have routinely rejected the idea that Major Hasan's actions were merely an anomaly or an aberration. Instead they believe it will happen again unless the military is willing to identify jihadists within the armed services.

A recent editorial in Investor's Business Daily provides a list of other jihadists in uniform. Perhaps you remember the story of another devout Muslim in the Army, Sergeant Hasan Akbar. In March 2003, he was guilt of fragging 17 fellow soldiers and killed two. Soldiers who survived his grenade attack heard him say: "You guys are coming into our countries, and you’re going to rape our women and kill our children."

Navy Signalman Hassan Abujihaad last year was convicted of tipping off al Qaeda to battle group movements in the Persian Gulf, including disclosing classified documents detailing the group’s vulnerability to terror attack. Army reservist Jeffrey Battle in 2003 pleaded guilty to conspiring to wage war against the U.S., confessing he enlisted "to receive military training to use against America"

Army Sergeant Ali Mohamed trained Green Berets at Fort Bragg's elite special warfare school before stealing military secrets for al Qaeda and helping plan bombings at three U.S. embassies in 1998. Army Specialist Ryan Anderson in 2004 was convicted of leaking military intelligence to al Qaeda terrorists, including sensitive information about the vulnerabilities of armored Humvees.

In light of this list, we should immediately admit that good and decent Muslim soldiers have served in the U.S. military with distinction. But the growing list of jihadists in the military illustrates the need to protect us from those who intend to weaken the U.S. military or bring down America. I’m Kerby Anderson, and that's my point of view.

Barack H Obama reminds us of George W Frederick and wishful for George W Bush

Bill Smith, Editor: H/T to The Oracle who identified the article below and noted that President George W. Bush and his wife Laura making a secret visit to the devastated military families at Fort Hood, TX. President Barack H. Obama and his wife Michelle will attend the memorial service at Ft. Hood on Tuesday.

It is easy to to find something to criticize President Bush for after eight years in office serving his country.  However, it is also easy to remember numerous favorable situations including his respect for the American people and his fondness for those who served in the military, public service in law enforcement, fighting fires, first responders and serving the needs of others. But, it is most unusual to find a majority of American's in just 10 months being tired of a president.

President Barack Obama has achieved this place in history. People are tired of being lectured at by immature acting president. Tired of a commander-in-chief who expressed more concern with the emotional state of the murderer rather than evidencing, like most red blooded Americans, that he was "PO'ed" at a non-combat doctor murdering and wounding military and civilians at Ft. Hood. Tired of a leader who criticizes and apologizes for the United States before the rest of the world at the drop of the hat. Tired of a man who associates with and then places into Government offices and positions known radicals and associates who would have been on any former FBI's watch list. Tired of a president using these same associations, his campaign organization, and the White House to challenge American citizens' liberties, freedoms and their right to live free of government controlling all aspects of our lives.

Barack Hussein Obama, who turned 48 (on August 4th), has in the last 10 months achieved what one other leader of America achieved by the age of 38. Barack H Obama has been irritating and or insulting the American people, has taken actions to levy taxes and or in-debting living and future generations beyond all cumulative debt established by former presidents, and has reduced or sought to reduce "We the People's" inalienable rights. Who achieved this undesirable feat quicker than Obama?  Well, that former leader was George William Frederick (formerly our King George III) who by the age 38 had forced Americans to respond to his attitudes and behaviors. George W Frederick turned 39 exactly one month before July 4, 1776 when Americans finally said enough is enough and severed ties with him as their leader. You can clearly see that this issue is not about race. GWF was white and BHO is black. Race doesn't matter. What matters is when people try to be kings verses servants of the American people! Kings may be interesting in the movies and children's fairy tales, but in real life, America cannot abide them.

Please Consider the following article and share your comments: The UK's Telegraph: Barack Obama's reaction to bad news is to play it so cool that Americans yearn for a bit more drama - and some even for his predecessor, writes Toby Harnden in Washington.
During the election campaign, Barack Obama's cool detachment was a winning quality, the "No Drama Obama" a welcome contrast with the "Mr Angry" John McCain, never mind the hot-headed "I'm the decider" President George W Bush.

A year into his presidency, however, Mr Obama seems a curiously bloodless president. If he experiences passion, he seldom shows it. It is often anyone's guess as to whether an event or issue truly moves him. He has spent more than two months considering a troop increase but do we know how he really feels about the Afghan war?

In a sign that the Obama honeymoon truly is over, I began to hear this week the first stirrings of a wistfulness about Mr Bush. "I never thought I'd hear myself say it," one Democrat told me. "But Obama makes you feel that at least with Bush you knew where he was on something."

When Mr Bush's Republicans were defeated in the 2006 mid-term elections, it was the President himself who stepped up and declared that his party had received "a thumpin'". The Democratic defeats on Tuesday were not on anything like the same scale but Mr Obama acted as if nothing at all had happened.

Mr Obama had campaigned for Jon Corzine, New Jersey's Democratic governor, five times, twice just last Sunday. But when Mr Corzine lost by four points in a state Mr Obama won by 15 last year - a 19-point swing to Republicans - White House aides just shrugged. In Virginia, which Mr Obama won by six points last year, prompting Democrats to declare an historic political realignment in the state, the Democratic candidate went down by 17 points in the biggest landslide since 1961 - a 23-point swing to the Grand Old Party.

It took Senator Mark Warner of Virginia to admit that his party "got walloped". For three days, Mr Obama maintained a studied silence about the results while his aides blamed them on local factors that had nothing to do with the President. And to think that it was Mr Bush who was always accused of being "in denial".

More serious perhaps was Mr Obama's strange disconnectedness over the Fort Hood massacre of 13 soldiers by an Army major and devout Muslim who opposed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, had praised suicide bombing and shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire. Maybe Mr Obama had been reading the American press, much of which somehow contrived to present the atrocity as a result of combat stress due to soldiers going on repeated war deployments (though Major Nadal Hasan had not been on any) and therefore, no doubt, Mr Bush's fault.

When the television networks cut to the President, viewers listened to him spend more than two surreal minutes talking to a gathering of Native Americans about their "extraordinary" and "extremely productive" conference, pausing to give a cheery "shout out" to a man named Dr Joe Medicine Crow. Only then did he briefly and mechanically address what had happened in Texas.

On Friday, when most of the basic facts were available, Mr Obama tried again. It was scarcely any better. He began by offering "an update on the tragedy that took place" - as if it was an earthquake and not a terrorist attack from an enemy within - and ended with a promise for more "updates in the coming days and weeks". Completely missing was the eloquence that Mr Obama employs when talking about himself. Absent too was any sense that the President empathised with the families and comrades of those murdered.

It was a reminder that for the past 16 years Americans have had two Presidents who would often extemporise and express emotion. President Bill Clinton could certainly "feel your pain" while Mr Bush sometimes struggled to hold back tears. Mr Obama is more like President George Bush Snr, who famously communicated his concern for people by blurting out: "Message - I care."

The White House argues that Mr Obama was not on the ballot last week and there is therefore no need to fret. The problem with this complacency is that voters were angry about the state of the economy, which Mr Obama can't keep blaming on his predecessor. With unemployment now above 10 per cent, Mr Obama needs to show Americans that he can relate to what they're going through, and take responsibility.

It could do him good to show he has a bit of fire in his belly. Perhaps he might make a decision or two based on gut instinct and deep conviction. In other words, maybe he should try being a bit more like Mr Bush.

DeValuation of We the People Continues

Leanne Hoagland-Smith
by Leanne Hoagland-Smith, Guest Editorial: Today, January 10, 2011 at 10am central time, the President led the nation in a moment of silence for the victims in the Tucson Tragedy. As I thought about this, I did not remember a similar act by the President for the 7 murdered victims and 20 injured of Fort Hood or any other recent national tragedy. At least the Army did schedule a moment of silence within 24 hours of the Foot Hood shooting, but our President could not.

The inconsistencies in this behavior are not lost to many in this nation for I was not alone in this observation. Others have made similar observations about this moment of silence and left their remarks at a variety of blogs. All you need to do is to type in: Fort Hood shooting moment of silence.

Earlier this day I posted "Tucson Tragedy Suggests Life Has Different Values." And the essence of that post and this one is the devaluation of We the People continues.

If you are a:
  • U.S. citizen who happens to be a soldier who is minding his or her own business and suddenly find yourself in crossfire
  • U.S. citizen who happens to be listening to your local elected official and suddenly find yourself in a shooting spree
  • U.S. citizen who is exercising your right to vote and find yourself intimidated by another citizen
  • U.S. citizen who is attending public school and find yourself in the middle of a planned massacre
  • U.S. citizen who is defending his or her property against the onslaught of invaders bent of committing illegal acts their first one not entering the country legally
  • U.S. citizen who is exercising your Constitutional right of freedom of speech that happens to disagree with those who support unconstitutional laws
then your value is less because other have deemed it so and that goes totally against the U.S. Constitution especially the first three words - We the People.

Everyone that being all U.S. citizens is supposed to have equal value and with the amendments this has been guaranteed. However our elected officials continue to cherry pick the value of We the People. If you agree with those in power both side of the We the Politicians, then you are a good citizen. But if you disagree, then you remarks are considered hate speech, vitriolic and even stupid.

Years ago, Herbert Morrison a reporter for WLS radio who was covering the docking of the Hindenburg echoed these words, "Oh, the humanity" when the great airship began to burn and passengers began jumping out of the burning ship. Today the same thing is happening. The ship of We the People has docked, is being destroyed and then altered for We the Politicians by all these inconsistencies.

Not all U.S. Muslim Soldiers Are Equal

Terrorist - Major (Dr.) Nidal Husan
Murdered 13 (and 1 unborn child); Wounded 30
by Michelle Malkin: Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient Captain Humayun Khan died heroically. But his exceptional courage in Iraq and his Muslim father’s post-Democratic convention histrionics on TV do not erase the security threat posed by killer warriors of Allah infiltrating our troops.

Don’t take my word for it. Ask all the forgotten Gold Star moms and dads who have lost their children because politically correct pushovers at the Pentagon looked the other way at the Muslim military menace.
Don’t take my word for it. Just re-read the ignored warnings issued by Muslim soldier Nidal Hasan, the vengeful mass murderer who gunned down 13 service members — including a pregnant private first class who lost her life and her child — and wounded more than 30 others at Fort Hood in 2009.

Two years before his rampage, while a senior-year medical school resident in psychology, U.S. Army Major Hasan delivered a 50-slide PowerPoint presentation to classmates and military superiors at Walter Reed. It was titled “The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military.” Quoting chapter and verse, Hasan illuminated “what the Koran inculcates in the minds of Muslims and the potential implications this may have for the U.S. military.”

Hasan cited the Verse of the Sword (“I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah”), explained “offensive” and “defensive” jihad and summarized the concept of “abrogation” — in which warring verses of the Quran trumped “peaceful verses.”

In Slide 11, Hasan bemoaned: “It’s getting harder and harder for Muslims in the service to morally justify being in a military that seems constantly engaged against fellow Muslims.”

Slide 48 warned: “If Muslim groups can convince Muslims that they are fighting for God against injustices of the ‘infidels;’ i.e.: enemies of Islam, then Muslims can become a potent adversary i.e.: suicide bombing, etc. We love death more then you love life!”

Under Conclusions, Hasan recommended that the Department of Defense “allow Muslim Soldiers the option of being released as ‘conscientious objectors’ to increase troop morale and decrease adverse events.” Cowed military superiors ignored the presentation, just as they had dismissed complaints from fellow students who noted Hasan’s exaltation of Sharia over the Constitution and support for suicide bombings.

“Adverse events” was Hasan’s euphemism for bloody jihad attacks and betrayals by Muslim soldiers against their own fellow U.S. soldiers. He included a case I’ve never forgotten: Traitor Hasan Akbar, the 326th Engineer Battalion Muslim-American soldier who lobbed stolen hand grenades and shot his M-4 automatic rifle into three tents filled with sleeping commanding officers at the 101st Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade operations center in Kuwait in 2003.

Capt. Christopher Seifert, 27, and Maj. Gregory Stone, 40, died during the fragging. Fourteen others suffered wounds from grenade shrapnel.

Willful blindness to a Muslim-American soldier’s fundamental internal conflict of loyalties led to those murders and injuries. Despite several incidents of insubordination and prior invocation of his Islamic beliefs to skip out of the 1991 Persian Gulf War, Akbar’s superiors sent him to Kuwait — and put him in charge of clearing land mines.

A decade later, in 2013, former Muslim-American Navy veteran Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif and an accomplice were convicted of plotting to kill officers and employees at a Seattle military recruiting center. The would-be killers wanted to retaliate against “the American military presence in the Middle East” and to prevent our troops “from going to Islamic lands and killing Muslims.” The co-conspirators cited Nidal Hasan’s Fort Hood attack as inspiration.

In March, U.S. Air Force vet and avionics weapons systems expert Tairod Nathan Webster Pugh, who declared himself a “Mujahid,” was convicted of providing material support to ISIS. Last spring, 22-year-old Army National Guard specialist Hasan Edmonds was arrested on his way overseas to join the Islamic State. He had plotted attacks on his Illinois National Guard Armory, police stations and courts.

Over the years, I’ve reported on many more of Allah’s soldiers in American uniforms, including:

– Army soldier Ali Mohamed, who pleaded guilty to conspiring with Osama bin Laden to “attack any Western target in the Middle East” and admitted his role in the 1998 African embassy bombings.

– Naval reservist Semi Osman, linked to a terrorist training camp in Oregon.

– Army reservist Jeffrey Leon Battle, who pleaded guilty to conspiring to levy war against the United States.

– Navy sailor Hassan Abu-Jihaad, convicted on espionage and material terrorism support charges after serving aboard the USS Benfold and sharing classified information with al-Qaida financiers, including U.S. ship movements prior to the USS Cole bombing in Yemen.

– U.S. Army Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo, who plotted to kill his fellow soldiers to “get even” with the military and strike at kafirs (non-Muslims).

The military’s Muslim chaplains program has been similarly compromised by radical imams tied to the jihad-waging Muslim Brotherhood.

This is not “Islamophobia.” This is fact: Not all U.S. Muslim soldiers are equal. To deny the deadly risk is to enable it.

Terror Fears Rising & Political Correctness Kills

Political Correctness: Tyranny of the Mind
by Gary Bauer, Contributing Author: Terror Fears Rising - There are widely differing polls over whether Donald Trump is going too far with some of his latest remarks about Muslims and terrorism. But what the polls don't disagree on is that the American people are increasingly concerned about the threat we face from radical Islam.

A new CBS News/New York Times poll finds that fears of terrorist attacks are at their highest levels since the days immediately following 9/11. Seventy-nine percent of Americans believe a terrorist attack is likely to occur in the next few months. Terrorism also beat out the economy as the top concern among Americans.

Why are fears of terrorism sky high? I believe it is at least partly due to repeated examples of misfeasance by the Obama Administration. The president is clearly failing to inspire confidence. The CBS News/New York Times poll finds that 57% of Americans disapproved of Obama's handling of terrorism. It's not hard to understand why.

For starters, his administration can't even identify the source of the problem -- radical Islamic terrorism. When attacks take place, like in Benghazi, administration officials rush to cover them up and blame something else.

Even though they were repeatedly warned, government officials missed the Tsarnaev brothers.

Consider the case of the Fort Hood assassin. Nidal Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, was counseling returning soldiers and often accused them of committing war crimes. Other warning signs were repeatedly ignored because officials were paralyzed by political correctness.

Political Correctness Kills - Is left-wing political correctness responsible for the San Bernardino massacre? Perhaps in part. A whistleblower has come forward alleging that Obama Administration policies likely prevented authorities from stopping the San Bernardino attack.

Phil Haney, a counterterrorism analyst at the Department of Homeland Security, had been working on a program that tracked the movements of Islamic radicals. According to Haney, some of these radicals under observation had gone to the mosque attended by Syed Farook in 2012.

Haney contends that this program likely would have flagged Farook's connection to the mosque and Tashfeen Malik's connections to related radical overseas groups. Farook could have been placed on the no-fly list and Malik could have been subjected to additional scrutiny.

But we will never know what could have been because the Obama Administration shut down Haney's program, claiming it was "profiling" Muslims.

Unfortunately, Donald Trump often makes it easy for the left to attack conservatism. But the explanation for Donald Trump's success can be traced to the public's frustration with the failure of our government elites to adequately protect the American people.

In addition, there is a growing backlash to the oppression of left-wing lies, euphemistically called political correctness, which often prevents a real a discussion about the source of the danger and what should be done to prevent bad things from happening.
